Turtle Beach

Ok so I want to get a pair of Turtle Beach Headphones, but i have no idea which 1 to buy -

I need a Windows 7 64 compatible and xbox 360 compatible, with full voice and surround sound?

Any 1 have any ideas?

I myself have the X11's which I love very much, but, these have since been dicontinued and replaced by the X12's. The only issue that I have had with my X11's is that the plastic cracked on the headband after I stood up while standing on the cord. I fixed it by gluing some pennies in place to weld the crack and provide structural support.

I have the X11, it's alright. Too bad they don't do it anymore.

Only problem is that I keep accidentally changing the volume and blasting my ears out because the dials are too loose, and the wires to that stupid thing where they twist all up, and it keeps getting caught on stuff... Which makes it kinda annoying when using a wheel.

The X12's are basically the same as the X11's with an additional loose dial for "Bass Boost"


I put some hockey tape over the dials on mine. It holds them in place and is easy to lift up one side if I need to make any adjustments. However, it is not easy to make adjustments in the middle of a race.

I HAD the X12's, and they WERE great. But not at all durable as the XBL headset(s). The silverstone GT meeting and connection issues irking me to the point I just ripped the X12's off my head and let them fall to the floor, and the left ear-piece broke right off! $60 USD right down the tubes. Luckily, I found an XBL headset in my 360-Slim box, so thats what I'm using now.
