Forum ID Cleanup

Hi all

As you may have seen, I've been maintaining the admin side of the members' race numbers recently. In my travels I've come across a number of members whose forum IDs are (sometimes significantly) different from their gamertags. Since we're so active "in game", I think it would be useful if everyone's forum IDs were their gamertags, so we can instantly associate posts here with a person in-game.

As an example (sorry for singling you out Ben!) - if you didn't know otherwise, you'd never know that "Vengeance Is Rippin" on the forums, is actually "iZ GundaM", a regular racer with TORA, on XBL.

So what I'm hoping is that if you read this, and your forum ID is different from your gamertag, and you'd like me to change it (warning - this also changes your forum login username to your gamertag), then please post below, and I will make the change.

My thoughts too, but this is a democracy, and also, I'm not sure we could regulate it upon forum registration.

You could just make it a rule that if you enter any tourney, you have to enter with your gamertag as your username. FR's only accepted by the TORA gamertag profiles from names that match the boards usernames. Just one extra line to be added to all Championship rules threads.

I suspect it would be a good thing overall. I make sure that, although my in forum name isnt the exact same as my GT, when I sign in to events, I do put my actual GT on there, to avoid any confusion.
I have no issues having my in game GT the same as my forum GT, feel free to change it.

(I would prefer to keep the capital M)

Yeah the case of the letters makes no difference web it comes to Xbox Live so you could have whatever you wanted on that front.
