Tuning help...

Hi guys,

My team and I are struggling to dial in the Viper Comp Coupe and as none of us are experienced at tuning it is kind of like the blind leading the blind.

We've got the gears down well but we're still not breaking the 1.23.6xx barrier and could do with some help. I can't say for sure what is wrong with the car, I know it could do with some more turn in and it definitely has some body rool in sweeping corners, but other than that I don't know where we're losing time.

So what I'm asking is that anyone who has tuned this car for this series, either when testing it or when homologating it (I'm looking at you Aero for that), would you mind possibly sharing your tune with us for a price? This also applies to anyone who may not have tuned it but wouldn't mind having a go at tuning it for us to make us a bit more competitive. I am willing to pay the going rate for either and would ideally apprecaite an unlocked tune so I can play with the gearing for subsequent rounds, although I am happy to take it locked if it means getting a banging tune.

Appreciate there are a lot of people here now who won't have seen or raced with me before but I'm sure that some of the "old guard" will vouch for me and confirm that I don't mess about on track or abuse people's trust by selling their handiwork. I'm just not a tuner that's all. I've had unlocked tunes from CQR Magictap and WWR Chillz before and unlocked paints from VVV Worm, DAN 2605 and Richy59 which have all been treated with the utmost respect and have never left my private ownership. So if you think you can help please do let me know as I could really do with a decent tune for this championship.

Ok, help with the R8 LMS! How do I apply the 15% power handicap? The sled meets the specs in the carlist but I don't get the deal with the handicaps. Certainly they are not already taken into account in the PI numbers since I am not that far off the pace as is and I am usually a strong candidate for a C lobby. So please enlighten me as I don't know how to set this. After that if anyone would like to gift a tune for the LMS at silverstone to use as a baseline I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Handicaps can be applied with the settings in an online lobby.

Sorry mate, I just saw the #2 part... I've always used the #11.

Don't worry about it mate my team mate has the #11 and its in our shared garage so I'll put your tune on that and transfer it to the #2.

I'll throw a tune your way, but to answer the question, you really can only test the car in multiplayer mode

Thanks for the tune! I'm flying in the morning but should hopefully get about an hour of testing before the race. With any luck the bandwidth in the hotel will let me on to LIVE. Hope to see everyone tomorrow!
