TORA Clubman Cup Meeting 2 - Rules & Discussion - 17th July 2012 - 8pm BST

The Clubman Cup returns with an extended Cup that will feature more races throughout the night.

The previous Cup took place over three races at three different tracks. This time the Cup will be run for a longer period throughout the night with two races taking part on each track and there will be three tracks we will visit. The tracks will be different from the previous Cup as we travel to Suzuka, Laguna Seca and Catalunya.



There will be no qualifying as grids will be set to random for the first race at each track. The grid will then be set to reverse lobby points for the second race around each circuit.

The cars list remains relatively unchanged, with additions to the banned car list. The PIs have also been slightly adjusted, with FWD being allowed to be built up to 480 and can have wider tyres fitted as noted in the rules below:

Cars may be painted up in any livery following the TORA guidelines, and a Numberbox will be issued before the event. Please let me know if you need it, it will be very similar to the MSA National Motorsport Week one that we used.

I'll be looking to run another Clubman cup on the 17th of August which will be the final one before the Britcar race. I will be trying one more adjustment to the PIs.

Cars that are pre 2000 will have a 10 PI gain over the post 2000 cars;

1980 - 2000 - FWD PI 490 - RWD PI 470
2001 - 2013 - FWD PI 480 - RWD PI 460

I need as many people as possible to help test these cars out, and all TCC cars will be allowed in the FWD class this time around.

I believe if you were to change the "post title" while editing the first post in the thread, it will change the title that shows up on the subforums and at the top of the page.

I'm aware of that, but I'll be making a new thread for the next meeting soon. I just posted in here to make people aware.

I've tried to build a few cars to the new specs and it's really difficult for alot of the FWD cars to fit in with the weight limit!

I looked at my calender and saw that the 17th August is a Friday, did you mean the 14th or the 21st? (Those are Tuesdays)

Must have meant the 14th then
