TASCAR 2012 - Round 7 - Le Mans (Old Mulsanne) - 1st September 2012

Qualifying starts @ 3pm EDT (8pm BST)
Race Day starts @ 4pm EDT (9pm BST)


Qualifying Format:
-Deadline to post 'IN' for Qually is 2:30pm EDT (7:30pm BST). Lobby for Qualifying will open by roughly 2:30pm.
-Standard 4 lap settings as per the Ovals, but there will be a roll-off delay. 2 "Flying" Laps to get your best time. Clean laps take priority over Dirty laps.
-Damage will be set to Limited, Collisions to Off so there is no worry of catching someone else's draft.
-On Lap 4, stop at 'Tertre Rouge" so lobby hosts can take times.


Race Day Format:
- Race Length is 18 laps. Lobby will be set to 19 laps for the Pace Lap/Formation lap.
- Damage will be set to Limited, Collisions are ON.
- ONE Mandatory pit stop.

Caution/Safety Car Speed: 60mph* (Mulsanne Straight/between Mulsanne Corner & Indianapolis/between Arnage and Porsche Curves can be paced at 100mph)
Safety Car/Caution
In The case of a Safety Car is called, DO NOT brake to get down to Safety Car speed. this could cause chaos. Let off the throttle and let the car slow down on its own. During the Safety Car period, Everyone forms up Single-File until everyone has caught up, then the field should reform into 2-by-2 formation for the restart. Seeing how tight the Ford Schicane(s) are, the restart at the line will be Single File
- During Safety Car
While under the Safety Car, drivers may pit and use their 'Mandatory' pit for that session/stint. Anyone who may be a lap down can get a lap back (but not those involved in bringing out the Safety Car).
---A Safety Car can be called up to the penultimate lap of the Race, and thusly the final lap will end under caution, and go into "Green-White-Checkered" rules once all competitors are back to the main lobby. If there are not enough laps to have a "Green-White-Checkered" under the Scheduled distance, the final laps can be run at a faster pace to complete the laps, BUT NO PASSING IS ALLOWED!!!

good racing tonight. Congrats BG Crunk for winning in your first TASCAR event. Had some good clean racing with IRT Trash before and after the pitstop. shame that ONE twinky ruined it.
