EDIT: 7:33.472 (C), much better yet the rear end is still sliding too much for me to get comfortable.

Did a few test laps with a car in each SP.

Car: Lexus LF-A

Handycap: -15% Power
Time: 7:59.xxx (clean)

Class: SP3 / N8-RWD

Handycap: -35% Power
Time: 8:52.xxx (clean)

I love this track!

EDIT: made a quick setup for an AWD -- seems quite competitive

Time: 7:35.575 (clean) on my second flying lap, though from other laps in that session I should have got about a 30 until I binned it With a few more laps and more adaptation of the tune (from sebring with a bit of aero!) and a few more laps I would think a mid 25 would be possible?

- just realised i forgot to save the replay as well, it was the only reason I kept going until the end of my 4 laps -.-

6 seconds quicker than me in a SP2 car then

Yea i was unsure what class to put it in....i may just bump it up to SP1.

But then again it's only doing 140 old down the straight

I don't know. It's like my favourite car + track so it may appear a little faster? What times have you or anyone else run?
I'll have to run some other cars for some comparison, but surely if say I hop into a SP1 car with more power and more downforce then I'll just go faster still and the the Porsche will be too slow for SP1?

Well try and find out

The more data we get the more balanced the rules will become.

The plan for that car it not to be able to win the overall event but sit just behind the SP1 cars, but a bigger power handy cap and clios will pass it up the straight lol

yep a sp2 shouldnt be quicker than a sp1 car from testing but could win if all sp1 cars crashed out

I think I got to 160ish up to turn 1.
But yeah, I'll play with some other cars tomorrow and I'll see what I get.

edit - as much as i hate to say it, the pi could be brought down so I couldn't use such beasty tyre sizes?

I was getting 166 with stock gearing

LOL try it at standard PI and see what the times are like?

EDIT: got the Ford to a dirty (I actually lost time...maybe 2-3 tenths) to a 7:32.6xxx

in SP2 (-15%)...

Clean 8:12.xxx, but that was an Out-lap. havent mustered an Undamaged Flying lap yet.

I will best testing more cars this weekend with drake. Don't expect us to run in the Corvette or the SLS AMG GT3, as I don't have the former and he doesn't have the latter.

Porsche Cup at 734 pi stock tyres race brakes and rims - 7.39 on my first flying lap. 176 ish max speed

SP1 - #62 Ferrari 458 Italia - 7.30 with one near spin and two offs with a crappy oversteering tune! 7.25 easily.
Now for a production sp2 and then a sp3 car! didn't see the power handicap -.-

SP2 - Porsche Cayman - 7.57.5 - few offs as well, quite difficult when having just driven a Ferrari and a GT3 Porsche

SP1 - GT3-RSR- 7.40 1 lap with crap gears = no progression at top end Think my Cayman was faster in a straight line by 10mph!
