Music- my second passion (CnC please)

hey guys, so a few years, i got told that i should take up singing, and so i did, i am, like guitar, self taught but getting lessons. last year i got asked to join a band as lead vocalist, which i jumped on right away. after a few weeks with said band, i left as it wasn't my kind of music which i told was alternative to grunge, but turned out being heavy rock to metal, which i like, but at the time was out of my vocal range. A year later, (now) i have been asked by many friends to learn song they like and upload the videos to youtube. so far i have 2 videos, one was quite dogy as i had a throat pain that entire week, but i'm proud of the other.

so this thread is basically me sharing the videos, you guys listening, hopefully enjoying and giving some CnC and if you guys want me to learn a song, say so and i'll give it a shot, so lets go with video number one

I would also like to note all of these videos are filmed on my iPod and are unedited (hence the background noise)

from what i can hear it sounds ok but your voice is quieter than the actual music .

My gf is in a band of her own as well. They released an EP a few months ago, so things are on the up. She plays trumpet and the band is more like Sublime meets Goldfinger. It's pretty cool. She wants to be a proffesional Trumpet player and is taking her Bachelors in Musical Performance.

We both were in the Canadian National Concert Band (I play Drums/Percussion) a few years back. It was pretty fun, but I wouldn't want to do that for a living.

i know there are mistakes, and that is due to the fact that i have been playing guitar since 10 am (it's now 5:10 at night) and been playing this song for an hour or so, so my hands are cramping like all hell
hope it sounds as good as it was to play (currently uploading to youtube)

Good stuff man! I've been playing for a little over 7 years now. I just replaced the pickups in my Ibanez RGA and I'm actually building a Strat from custom parts right now. I'm brushing up on the solo to Beat It by Michael Jackson, but EVH is a god among men so it's not easy
