Le Mans Rennsport (LMR), was created on March of 2011. The founding fathers of the team were LMR Deftone MX, LMR Scantraxx, and LMR ODEN. The team was never meant to be a Hotlapping or Leaderboard clan, but a group of racers looking to have a few good laughs and race online. With this vision, LMR has grown today to about 35 members and more are getting recruited as weeks pass by. One thing many of us share in common is our love of the Porsche brand. We still race almost anything though. Our strong point is the R3 class, and you'll most likely catch us in Public R3 Lobby's. We once reached 11th in the world in the Circuit Club Leaderboard rankings. Unfortunately we had to abandon that club because Collin(Deftone)'s old account was the leader there. So we are currently trying to reach that rank again, and make Forza teams and drivers aware that we are a force to be reckoned with. With that said, LMR is looking to make an impression on the likes of veteran teams such as F4H, CQR, BG, IRT, VVV, etc. We want to become well-known, and we feel that we have the speed and capability of competing with the big boys.

Hopefully 2013 will be our year in TORA, as 2012 was filled with bad luck. The TORA 24 Hours of LeMans in 2012 was LMR's first event on this fine association. The team was on route for a podium finish, but engine failures set them back to an 8th place finish in the only Porsche in the GTE field. Next up was the Britcar 24. Once again the Porsche suffered severe engine failure throwing the race in the can for the boys. In the last endurance race of the 2012 TEC Championship, LMR had at last some luck in the Green Hell. LMR Scuderia and LMR Deftone MX teamed up to challenge the 8 hour event. After battling with F4H Bullet for many hours, Deftone brought the Audi home in 5th place in class. Much needed motivation boost for the team and its dreams and hopes for 2013. We are coming back with full force this new year, starting with the 12 Hours of Sebring. We plan to have 3 cars in this event. In addition, LMR Scuderia and Deftone will be running alongside Shrinkingsteven and gunnerman in the TORA GT World Championship. DM Haribo will be fielding 4 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR's. Heres to a great year of TORA racing, bring it on!
