Hopefully I can record it and watch it when I get home from my grandmother's.

is there a race this weekend, if so i can't see it ESPN keep telling me the next 1 is Long Beach on the 21st and its on at 9.45pm BST

Never listen to ESPN when it comes to motorsports. The next race is this weekend at Barber Motorsports Park.

I think over in England they get Indycar on the UK ESPN this year.

Asked on their Facebook page whether or not the coverage will be live, ESPN UK replied "It certainly is!" but didn't indicate further whether that would be the case for all 19 races, or how much of the race would be shown as it happened.

It's also unclear whether IndyCar will be shown on ESPN's UK main channel or on ESPN America instead. The difference is that only the main channel is available across all platforms in the UK.

That's not exactly true, British Telecom are expected to take the ESPN channels having bought the rights to the very little amount of Premiership games that ESPN show, the new "BT Sports" Channels are due ahead of the start of the next season of football, which may mean Indycar disappears before August, if BT Sports ends up keeping the coverage then I doubt they may be available on anything other than BT's own boxes or Sky.

Sky sports do the Indycars too in the UK

BT is taking over but In July 14th to be accurate, I have BT Vision so i can watch Indycar full race in the Motorsport section!! Or live on ESPN (BT Sports 1)

I'm not too sure, Anything FOX or SKY then murdoch's name is all over it. HOWEVER Sky's interactive services used to rely on a BT phone line. Now that BT are setting themselfes up as competitors I'm not sure whos fingers are in whoever's pies.

....It's also worth mentioning that ESPN in the states provides the world picture feed, the St Pete's race may have had the NBC comms of Diffey and two randumbs, but the on screen captions and indeed the end credidts had ESPN written all over it.

I'm pretty sure it's still Sky Sports, unless I'm mistaken.

And, I apologise for being so anal, but England is only part of the UK

St. Pete's was on ESPN UK, without the use of a sky sports based studio to screw things over! 100% American based broadcast . As it bloody should be.

Barber is NOT live this weekend, Live Italian football is in the way. Then an MLS game, which is also live.

In any case, I hope you get to watch. It should be a good race.

Sato was slated for the Fast 6, but as he slowed to avoid having a car ruin his good lap, he got in the way of Justin Wilson and was thus penalized. I would be ok with that, but Will Power did the same thing, ruing James Hinchcliffe's chances, yet got no penalty.

I dream of a series that treats small teams and large teams alike... too bad that won't happen within my life \time.

GREEN FLAG AT BARBER!

Gutted I missed the race.

Apparently they were running up to four seconds faster than last years record at Barber in spring testing.

Penske's three race win streak at Barber is broken as Hunter-Reay looks to defend championship with win. Dixon finishes runner-up for fourth consecutive Barber race.

Good to see Penskanassi get beat despite taking control of the race via pit strategy.
