I played it some time ago when it was new and kind of beta, but its not worth recreating a virtual version of a virtual game anyway.

You pick a chassis, engine, tyres etc, you are given 12 practice "laps" to adjust the "paramaters" of the car, to get it to go quicker and to perform better in the "race" that happens at a due time of day on a certain date.

Once the time arrives to "race" everyone who entered your selected race are put into a database, the numbers are crunched and a minute later the results of whoever had the faster, better performing car, wins the race.

Somone wants to recreate this, with OUR names in it?

Right, this obviously isn't something people seem to want to be a part of and have taken offence that their names have been included without their permission. I don't really get what this is, but I'm not going to stop you from inviting people in, however that is only if you get their consent to be a part of it.

I have removed the list of names from this forum. If you want to get people to join then maybe a clearer explanation of what their names will be used for will help clear things up and a formal invitation to this would go a long way.

Alright, let me explain: The oaa is a text based racing game, where the races are simulated through a program called xkorinate, which i mentioned earlier. there are 6 divisions: Historic A, Historic ST, Super 2000 (which includes some BTC-T and NGTC cars), GT, Formula Ford and Formula 3, over 3 conferences: the American, European and Australasian conferences with more to come as demand grows.

The names where just a list of people form TORA who i am inviting to my website.

Ouch. Nice idea, but for us guys who like to actually race, this doesn't appeal to me. I'm interested in how it works though.

Alright heres how it works

1. Register
2. Sign up for a racing championship
3. Wait for other competitors to sign-up
4. And we go racing. Races are (once again), generated though xkorinate.

IMO there are better virtual/fantasy race simulators out there.
Now, as this is your thread, I don't feel like it is the place to say what they are but for me that is reason enough not to sign up.

Name me some.

To have a good race you need a good number of racers.
From your website's memberlist I see 5 people and you have banned 1 of them.

Going by those numbers, even the 2005 F1 Indianapolis GP was a better race that what you currently have on the table.

Therefore, again IMO, any virtual/fantasy race simulators that have enough people to actually have a race is better than this.
