I need help identifying a car I saw last night

On the way to my res from home last night, I came across a car on the highway. I have never seen nor heard of what this car could possibly be. It was dark so I couldn't make out any of the badging. Plus I wasn't able to take a photo because I was driving (DON'T TEXT AND DRIVE FOOLS).

It wasn't American, that much is a given. The owner had a Union Flag sticker on the side, so I assume it's English.

If I had to guess a time period, it would be from the mid-late 60's to the late 70's.

It kinda looked like a Ferrari Dino from the front but then the rear was nothing like I've ever seen before. It had B pillars like a Ferrari F355 but almost made it look like a El Camino in a sense that it had the flatest rear deck/hood I've seen yet. It looked like it could have been MR configuration, but having never seen the car before, I couldn't tell you if it actually was.

I had a teacher who owned one in High School, we could carry that car everywhere. Putting in in the middle of the football field was fun.
