As some of you may know, January 24th marks the first anniversary of SBR's involvement in TORA. To Celebrate this milestone we want to do something special!

So on Sunday 24th we are holding a mass attempt at the 100,000 drift points in one lap achievement.... our goal.... an 800,000 point lobby!!!

Slider S15 was hospitalised on wednesday 13th January 2010 for two hours after coming down with a viscious virus. He was treaded and released later that day after recieving two injections, a blood test and a fluids drip.

On Thursday the 14th January 2010 he recieved the results of his test which at this time he wishes to be kept private until those close to him can be informed, all that will be said is that it is a very nasty virus and not the dreaded swine flu.

After a long wait Sam Billing Racing can now show off the car that driver Chad Wilson will be driving in the TORA LMS. The deal came about around midnight with the team getting $100,000 off the car due to the car being late after De Ferren Motorsports confrimed that they had money issues. Race paint will be up shortly as Sam still has to get his car. Test design of the car below.

Slider S15 today anounced that he will be competing in the TORA Rally Championship in a TRC Spec Peugeot 207 S2000.

Backed by Rockstar Energy drinks Slider will be driving The Ex Kris Meeke car which powered him to the Intercontinental Rally Championship Crown in 2009. Working together with Kronos Racing, The outfit that prepared the car for Meeke, as well as SBR. Due to the unique regulations of the TRC Slider's car will be quite different from the car used by Meeke, especially the Engine.

Slider's 207 will be powered by an experimental prototype engine from new supplier...

SBR have changed to the Acura ARX-01b after beating the Porker RS in a test around bugatti. The team may switch to the Red Bull Racing team of driver ColinMcRae555 for the new car.

Today it was confirmed the SBR is looking to make an appearance in the GT3 championship. Information is thin on the ground as yet, but rumours are spreading of a desire to use the Aston Marting DBS.

The only news we have at this time is that a second driver has not been found yet, and that team boss Sam Billing is open to applications from anyone wiling to race for the team.

'The car is still in race preparations at the moment, but the paintjob is ready to go. Anybody willing to race for us is welcome, and should send me an application'

Slider S15 has tonight called off his persuit of a privateer drive in this seasons LMS.

"it was quite sad really, all of the paper work was completed and filed with TORA, the car was built and painted and ready but there was just not enough money to run the car due to the current financial climate."

However an appearance from Slider is still not completely off the cards with rumours circulating of a deal with a major team for the season. However as yet there are no details as to who Slider will be driving for or what class he will be driving in.

SBR will be taking part in the LPM2 class of the TORA LMS championship. The team have chosen to run 2 Porsche RS Spyder Evos with SBR founder Sam Billing and team newcomer Chad Wilson.

Sam Billing Racing: SBR:

SBR was Founded Several years ago as a showcase for the Tuning Skills of Sam Billing (Sam Billing1991) on Gran Turismo 4 for the PS2. Shortly Afterwards Sam Discovered the driving talents of Michael Clements (Slider S15) During a school wide GT4 Competition in which Slider was narrowly beaten into second position overall.

The company evolved slowly at first until the Leap forward from GT4 on PS2 to Forza Motorsport 2 on Xbox 360. This was a much better showcase for the guys talanets and soon the SBR name began to spread internationally....
