I was thinking that there may end up being a dropped round to the TEC or something.
Get the impression some of the big teams know something as some of them are just not fielding a car etc and I wonder why Twisted Evil

My TEC Team are not running so thats a championship run probably blown Sad

Would be great if there was an individual standings for drivers based of the cars finish positions too but I don't see that happening Smile

We of CRA are taking every event of the TEC seriously.
At first I was not happy with how things are and were going with this event.
But i will not complain about it, I will test and tune and again we are trying to win.

Let's look at when the race is.
Summer - check
School Holidays - check

Those are 2 huge factors. The days are nice and long so spending the weekend out in the sunshine is an option. Also, those who are parents with kids may be going on vacation.

I don't think that people are purposely missing an event, it's just not the best time right now.

However there will be a dropped round for the WEC

There always has been a dropped round since the community event was part of the championship. (not recently) reason been this is a community ran race not staff, staff are not help organising, running, streaming etc the event.

The original plan was never to have a championship spanning any events, thinking next year we will keep everything separate but will see end of year.

I am going to publish le mans feed back and what we will do differently for silverstone

WEC is team only championship and team name must be kept the same between events as announced months ago.

Various reasons why this event is not popular, time of year, maybe x2 cars, track? promotion etc but should be a good race.

Since the registration is locked I'll post it here. The Sweeney isn't going to be attending this race, and probably the last two rounds as well. The appeal of the first two was the cars, and style of racing, so we just can't get into the rest.

At the begining of the year a staff member said there would be a TEC Champjonship, including all 5 events. Drivers championship and a teams championship.

Of course we already the team names had to be the same, but I never saw a mention of a drop round until now.

And the reason this isn't drawing attention is because of the lack of prep time, IMO. But also I don't think this was the communities first choice for a TEC race.

All points are there for drivers but will be pain to work out lol

Dropped rounds are always in our events and races due to personal lives and nature of online racing.
