Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
I am noticing a possible over the top swooshing noise going under bridges and things. Is that realistic or too much?
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
The Gamespot ones are 60fps but my laptops too slow to play them so they run really jerkily
The suspension flexing and movement on the Ariel Atom looks excellent, as do Silverstone's clouds

holy mother of Zues that looks amazing,BG Wumba wrote:
and did anyone else notice, just before it passes that yellow car near the end, the guy pushes the steering wheel and gets a sudden burst of speed to over take him
possible push to pass?
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
I see what you mean, but I think thats just idle hands animations. Seen it on a few videos now
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
yeah, after rewatching it, i think you're right,
Indy500 next year sounds like (another) great idea to shove somewhere

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
lol, I had the same thought, but it clear its just the idle hand movements. I don't think there could be a button for push to pass, after playing the demo. Maybe RB, but I can't say for certain
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
Definitely the idle hands animation, but holy crap, i want it now!

Simon, I'd say the swoosh was about right for an open car like that. Will be interesting to see if that noise is any different when driving a closed vehicle.
Really pleased to see new Silverstone in all it's overcast glory.
Loving Indy too. That's going to be mega in a TORA event next season

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
maybe a proper 'Wheldon 500' with the IndyCar's, and obviously, TASCAR's "Brickyard 250" to name two

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
Theory : Car Showroom
You don't generally put racecars in a showroom hence the vast amount of road cars. Yes there have been one or two but generally no, as the name suggests its for road cars. The last showroom reveal will finish the feature, either to bombard us with the last of the road cars, and have seperate reveals for the race cars, or for everything revealed at once.
hmm

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
never realised it before until watching that, but theres a tyre load/heat thing bottom right as well as accelerator break input thing like in the telemetry there as well
and the split time is put under the current lap time too
but what about the track! looks amazing

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
There's too much sort of...wind noise (?) with the GT6 sounds. The rumblestrip noises on FM5 sounds great too. Seems like they even sound different depending on the type of kerbing AND the speed you pass over them. I know that's sad but I notice things like that
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
That's a bit of an unfair comparison as the GT6 vid is off screen. But FM5 still blows it away
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
Ok so a couple of things from this month's Top Gear mag that's just dropped through my door;
- The first big addition will be the LaFerrari
- You can stretch you legs in many places from Bathurst's Mount Panorama (an ideal place for the soon to be added V8 Supercars). Or Yas Marina, or Spa or Silverstone.
Hoping that TG have their facts straight this is lovely news
