No button pressing there, just think it's a bit of hand animation.CRA Erebus wrote:holy mother of Zues that looks amazing,BG Wumba wrote:
and did anyone else notice, just before it passes that yellow car near the end, the guy pushes the steering wheel and gets a sudden burst of speed to over take him
possible push to pass?
IndyCar does have a push to pass system though.

Slipstream effect on those puppies looks incredible...
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
By the looks of those wings, I'd say that's a good representation
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
let's hope the rumors are true, and the 'speedway' wing option is in the 'upgrade' section for the indycar(s)

I would've thought so, at 200mph the hole the cars are cutting in the air must be immense, and to be in the hole i'd imagine is a huge advantage...CRA Erebus wrote:is it realistic though?

Does anyone any knowledge of whether we will be able to import liveries, vinyls or our hard earned "credits" from 4 to 5? If we can't import anything some of us that aren't artists will have some mighty bare cars for a good while.

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
yeah, its based on a 'tier' base system t10 put together. the high er your tier, the bigger the starting package when you start FM5. i think Tier 1 is 10,000CR and the 2014 Fiesta ST, i think Tier 3 has the RS7 and a higher CR amount, think Tier 4 has the f12berlinetta..... don't recall them exactly

That's the superspeedway kit right there
I'm sorely tempted to get an XB1 after seeing all these great videos. I have the money, it's more the ''am I actually going to use it'' aspect.

I don't know the truth in this, but apparently ordering this late means you night not even get it for another month. Although that may be Microsoft trying to scare people into buying.

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
i'm sure its been brought up before, but i sure hope they divided up the tuning on the suspension. meaning that the camber, toe, springs and tire pressures can be adjusted "per wheel" and not just per 'front/rear'. tuning for ovals, as an example, with the current system, you can get the right side tires heated up perfect to get the best grip, but that leaves the left side tires colder than the rights, because the lefts are carrying the same camber angles the right side tires are. the left side tires need to run positive camber, and rights negative camber. and you can easily witness this by watching the NASCAR drivers' cars at certain tracks.
from NASCAR gaming experience, they've had the separate tire options in their games since i can remember. so why can't Turn10 be able to add this into Forza for an even better simulator?!

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
In Race Pro, you can edit each corner separately, and there's also a ''symmetry'' option for ease of use. That'd work perfectly on Forza.
