Petit Le Mans 2013

It's two days away, so I think it's time to start the thread.

So far it is a soggy start to the PLM weekend. 30% chance of rain on Saturday.

I taking a halfday tomorrow and driving up from Florida for Saturday. Going to bid farewell to ALMS. I have been to many Rolex 24s and 12 Hours of Sebring, but never a PLM. I figured this was the year to do it.

Anyone else going to be there?

thanks for this Cowboy. i dare not turn on my cable box, as this "Fox Sports 2" cuts away for NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and then later for what seemed like regularly scheduled programming...... according to my AT&T U-Verse channel guide. F&^$ You, FOX.

I can kinda understand the Truck race, but they originally had to cut away the PLM coverage for qualifying....I mean come on.

Mario, while the listings show Truck Qualifying, it was actually Cup Qualifying, and was rained out anyway... so they stuck with Petit. In the end, I think the whole race is on, but you'll have to switch back and forth between the two FAUX Sports channels.

Live Streaming is something the ALMS has done very well the last couple of years and I hope it continues after the merger.

Funny part is overseas, the ALMS live streaming is readily available. But here in the US, it is on ESPN3 site, and only select internet providers have access to it, so much of the US can't live stream ALMS races.

Freeken ridiculous.
