As for TV broadcast:

ALMS would lose huge chunks of race broadcasts to show the latest products from series sponsors. When trying to watch a race, I don't need to spend 10 minutes hearing some fat guy selling me on his company's latest products.

The Detroit race was basically just a Grand am race. What I hate the most is how the DP's are winning everything. The P2's, if there are any left, don't stand a chance.

Hopefully I'll be going next year.

Still, I think as long as Toyota keep it clean (which tbf is a big ask) they'll be able to win it this year, they have the fastest overall package and can go further than Audi on fuel.

Audi went the wrong way with the hybrid+engine imo so it'll be a task for them to win.
I reckon we'll see sub 20's this year too in qualifying.

Hey, at least we aren't saying Porsche is gonna win. While I am a huge Porsche fanboy, they have next to no chance of winning this year. And I'm up for anybody winning but Audi. And not like Toyota doesn't deserve it!

my prediction for Le Mans

LMP1: Toyota
This is currently atm the favourites....I think its too soon for Porsche and Toyota was the most impressive of all team.....in 2012 they originally came in as a test season until Pegueot works team pulled out, Toyota impress picking up wins in there first WEC season and doing well.....Audi have gone the wrong way with the hybrid system but it did change too soon.....but Audi have experience and mark (Webber) hopes he can actually finish Le Mans in the right way up.....(sorry bad pun). Also a shout to Rebellion cars aswell. they have already win the teams championship in the LMP1-L so its be a team battle now for drivers. I dout they win le man overall but finishing the race without problems will be there reward.

LMP2: #41 Greaves
A very hard class to choose which team will win....all I will say is I bout that the Ligier cars will finish but wont win (cars #33, #35 and #46) the G-drive car #26 is a strong driver line up but im gonna put my money on Greaves cos I think they be at the sharp end at the end.

GTE Pro: Ferrari or Porsche
Aston Martin struggled this year thanks to BoP by the ACO, only good strategy will help them fight for the win. as for corvette, this be more a trial year with the new C7 in Europe for the first time. so my money is more AF Corsa (Ferrari) and Porsche.....but the dark horse in the class will be the british Ram Racing Ferrari.

GTE Am: Ferrari or Aston Martin
Will say now, with the most cars in the AM class Ferrari will either win or get a podium in class. Also with the works Aston Martin currently leading the points, don't be surprise they be up there aswell.

ZEOD: the ZEOD at the test day was the test car, whilst it did have some electrical problems it ran well and with good drivers in the car aswell they should finish.....depending mainly on a certain Toyota hitting the Deltawing off in the race in 2012. Its also a important aswell cos some of the technology will be heading towards the New Nissan GTR LMP1 car for next year.....theres no tech specs and we haven't seen wats it like but there will be out inforce next year.

Dissapointment: Mainly on two team, the Works SRT (dodge) Viper team not coming to le mans due to fianance, and the straka dome lmp2 which sadly crashed badly at a test at spa which the driver been injured.....they could have time to rebuild it but lack of spares and how new the car is a risk for them so missing le mans is a suitable answer.

Although I would add that the Lotus in the LMP1-L is really the biggest failure.....this car has no pics or info bout it at all......the only thing we heard is the chassic may have failed a crashed test but that's it. lets say everyone was not surprise bout the lotus not racing le mans and I think the rest of the WEC season aswell.
