RIP Paul Walker, Brian O'Connor
not that long ago, somewhere in California, Paul Walker and a mate were driving when the driver (the mate) lost control of the car, colliding with a tree, causing the vehicle to explode in a fire ball.
no this is not fake, i am 110% on this, as much as that pains me to say it,
Paul, you will be sorely missed, let the roads and skylines be limitless in heaven
Godspeed Paul
RIP

Re: RIP Paul Walker, Brian O'Connor
Actually quite gutted about this, I know he wasn't the greatest actor of all time but I grew up watching the FF movies. Was seriously looking forward to number 7. RIP Paul, at least you went through the pearly gates in a spectacular way.
Re: RIP Paul Walker, Brian O'Connor
Its unfortunately true. I first read it on transformers forum but it all sounded to surreal until TMZ later referenced the post and the news really broke...
He will be sorely missed from me. One of the few actors I actually looked up as a kid, and jump started my passion for cars n racing....

Regardless of some of the corny acting and the ignoring of real life physics, the fast and furious movies will live forever along with the actor, charity helper, and avid car enthusiast Paul Walker. RIP Brian O'Connor

Me and my wife are huge fans of the series as a real petrol head Paul will be sadly missed thoughts prayers with his familyRichy59 wrote:Actually quite gutted about this, I know he wasn't the greatest actor of all time but I grew up watching the FF movies. Re: RIP Paul Walker, Brian O'Connor
I woke up to this this Morning and I'm absolutely gutted. Through the FnF movies Paul was a part of my life growing up and introduced me to the world of aftermarket performance, teaching me that a car could be something more than when it began its life.
He helped thousands with his charity Reach Out Worldwide and even In his final hours was raising money for the Philippines.
But mostly he was a petrolhead, he was one of us, and he will be sadly missed

Re: RIP Paul Walker, Brian O'Connor
I am upset
FnF was my childhood. It was the coolest thing for us kids.
Does anyone want to do a memorial run? Perhaps before Nurb12 or something?

Re: RIP Paul Walker, Brian O'Connor
I grew up watching the FastAndFurious films, all the way back when the only way to catch 1&2 were on ITV, I was hooked, he and Diesel MADE those films come to life, and you could relate to one of them in many ways.
I am gutted to hear about this today, truely am, and has brought a tear to my eye as another young and amazing person taken before his time.
R.I.P Paul, we'll all miss you mate.

Re: RIP Paul Walker, Brian O'Connor
Adding to the above, Stan I would love the chance to give him a TORA send-off, can someone please make this happen?
Maybe a race or Parade lap in the cars he was attached to in the series, and his real life car.

Re: RIP Paul Walker, Brian O'Connor
I am truly gutted today.
The passing of a fellow petrol head is always a gut wrencher, but when it is one from a series of films that you watch on a regular basis it touches that much closer to your heart.
My friends and family cannot understand my passion for everything to do with cars and car films and yet they notice my mood today.
Paul walker is the guy I wanted to be (along with Lewis Collins, bodie from professionals) so my week has been quite an upsetting one.
I hope the families get wind of these posts so they feel the passion us guys held for Paul.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Re: RIP Paul Walker, Brian O'Connor
Sad to hear the circumstances around his death, and that his friends who was driving was a professional racing driver who had competed in the Pirelli Championship. They were also doing charity runs in the cars created and owned by the tuning shop Paul partly owned that day. After seeing the wreckage and some of the videos from the time of the crash it must have been horrible to have been involved in. There is also a picture of him getting into the Porsche that a few moments later would claim their lives. Still gutted he's gone, I'll be having an FF binge when I get home with a few drinks.

RIP
Looks to me as the wreck was in the industrial park in Valencia. The parkway that connects that to the rest of town is full of wide sweeping turns that can be great fun in the right car and conditions... like it was built for supercars.
