2014 TORA Spec Cup Season 1 - General Discussion

Cheers to Hurricane for the whole series! And to all the hosts who put in the effort. Thanks to MAB for hosting tonight and great racing from S1lentRaven, jgroves1996 and Standaman94 in race 2. Very close and apologies if there was any lag, my ethernet cable for my Xbox is torn so it was wireless tonight.

Awesome racing in Lobby B. As a team manager getting a 1-2-3 in both races was fantastic! Reverse grid certainly made race 2 much tougher than race 1, delighted with my brace of 2nds :-)

But nevertheless, great racing today in Lobby B! Glad to get the lobby win in race 1 ahead of two team-mates, wish I could have made it a 1-2-3-4 in race 2!

Great Racing in lobby B and a great Heads up by JVanEssen on anticipating my divebomb in the final corner in Race 1. I had to try something to get 10th.

Congrats to Team HARD on sweeping the podium in both races in Lobby B and I look forward to seeing what Team HARD can do in the Super GT500 Season Opener this Friday Night.

Whenever I'm racing for a championship I get involved in stupid collisions. Hopefully I done enough to take third but I think mystic is going to take.

Really fun series.

Today was not my day though. I think I had a giant target on my back bumper.
This was my very first series with TORA and only my second series that I have entered since starting forza a few months back. I had a goal of making the top twenty. Think I might be close.

Kudos to JRacer for doing the right thing and waiting for me to regain.

Great racing tonight, a shame I didn't hear the start time for race 1 and a crash/spin in race 2, I still think I scored more point tonight to my other bad race on week 2.

Also thanks to the hosts and hurricane for running it, great fun for all the races

Results are up for Race 5. As soon as all SI's are closed I will post the final standings with the drop rounds for drivers and teams. Currently the points totals shown are the gross points and do not reflect any dropped points.

First of all my apologies. Don't know what happened, but when I tried to avoid you I locked the brakes and of course you have no control any more and I just tapped you at the wrong angle and spun you.

This must have been my worst race ever, I seemed to have a magical attraction to every car around me and had to touch all of them...   Probably why I deserved to come last in both races. Still thoroughly enjoyed it, but just like Windcharger mentioned during the race, whoever designed this track should be taken to a 'certain colored' room and beat!! I actually quite like the track, but the track does not like me...   

Looking forward to the next (FWD?) SPEC series!

Congratulations to Tubbi 🎂🍻🏆 A well deserved championship victory. You were awesome at getting to the front from the reverse grids.

It was a great series, had so much fun in the little car, big thanks to Hurricane and all the guys who helped run it.

^ Yeah kudos to Tubbi, never managed to hold him off for more than two laps and if I ever managed to squeeze back past he would come past giving me a fag papers width just to prove he can do it again! Looking forward to whatever car they give us next! R35 GTR please guys:)

Are the results final? Just noticed I've been given the ribbon for 3rd in the drivers champ. What's happened to the drop round?

Good question... Someone filled in the form without finishing it I'll see if I can do that now without screwing it up...
