MSA TORA GT Season 11 - General Discussion

A question about liverys:

When I want to join this championship with a team - how do we manage to get the same livery with the TORA GT Box? Because we're not able to send liverys to each other when there's a foreign pattern group on it...

My suggestion as I'm looking at the same conflict. Set the livery up to the point to where you can still cloud share it.

Once your teammate has said livery, unshare it. And then coordinate with that teammate on the locked logo's locations via the x and y on the car.

Will the US GT still be going on FM4? with this now on Sunday nights I thought i'd check

will be a forza US GT series for forza 4 I belive

Maybe US GT and GT S11 could alternate?

European GT is still ongoing, that is the alternate Sunday night GT series on FM4. Please be patient to find out what comes after the EGT series

Sad too see no RUF on the list too replace the Porsche brand    Very excited for this series though, I'm currently looking at the Gallardo and Italia   

ruf way overpowered wait till 9 laps then cars work well once tyres warmed up

I'll be having a think about how the mandatory vinyls will work on FM5, it may be a case of us just asking for the TORA window banner url to be in place (which anyone can do) and then having your TORA number on the car somewhere. There may be no boxes for it, and we could end up seeing some cool designs based around the numbers as well like these:

My Team has managed the livery problem. Our "designer" is going to upload the design as a pattern group (front/sides/roof/etc.) and then everyone in our Team can place all the "officical" stuff by themselves on the car. I think this should work out for us!

You can still require a number box and just have us paste our numbers in the blank area.

However I love the idea of not having them as well

I think we may end up going down the 'No Numberbox' route. I personally quite like it, and it will save Teams a lot of hassle. People can still run a box if they wish, but hopefully we will also see some numbers worked into people's designs.

There will probably only be on Mandatory vinyl, and that will be the standard TORA url. Anyone can make it, so as long as that is on the car with your TORA number it will be legal. A TORA logo would also be nice to have, but not necessarily required. This is what I was playing around with today, nothing fancy but I think it looks better than trying to fit in a box:

Yep that's what we did for the Bathurst race. Not ideal but it gets the job done.

Richy the Nissan can it have 650BHP or dose it have to be 600BHP

The cars in Group 1 have between 550-600bhp, the cars in Group 2 have between 600-650bhp.

The Corvette and Viper can't have their engine outputs adjusted to fit within the rules.

Looking forward to the round at Spa in particular!   

I like the No Numberboard rule. Lets those teams who want to run a Number Design to actually run it and not have to worry about the design being too big for the required board. It just sucks that Season 11 isn't on FM4. Was really looking forward to competing.

I am trying to get the Nissan GTR to S720 and then it will not be 600BHP

The Nissan I have has 551bhp and has medium weight with full width tyres. All the cars for as we all built every car to the spec.

You need to be a bit creative though, remember you can change engine and aspiration to make them fit.
