Not a single spec of damage taken all day.
But man, I'm exhausted, that last stint was a blur. Great driving by everyone in Lobby B!

Well done

Are you sure this is correct? ONR Faith was just over 11,000 feet infront of me at the end of the stint. This post shows that ONR Faith was 21,190 feet infront of me. Meaning that he lapped me, he didn't. Perhaps it should be 166,654 feet instead of 156,654 feet.HCR Bellmond wrote:Lobby (A)

Faith said he had 11,3xx feet on Thom. So he must have gotten it 10,000 off.
They almost made up the distance lost from Stint 1. So close, yet so far.

Not only that, if one's Lobby contains, let's say, 13 drivers, make the settings to 13 people instead of alway's leaving it 16. That way no others are allowed in the lobby. Sure, if someone would lag out, there's a chance of someone sneaking in, but you can reduce the risk a bit of ,,drop-in lobby screw-ups".

I have just heard from a team mate of mine that lobby B stint 6 was a complete [Censored] mess, 4 re-starts because a shoddy host couldn't get the bloody settings right, how stupid can you be !! Lobby starting an 30 to 40min late because of this and then just deciding to go instead of doing the grid properly and starting people in the correct order, even a rolling start would have been more expectable but no, he just decided to start with no one in the right order.......I except TORA to run the race to a high standard which is was and I applauded everyone for but this host was shocking, please DO NOT let him host again. My rant done, complete rubbish !!

Everyone in the lobby opted to just get the race going with a random grid as it was 2:30am when we got started we were all tired so this was the best option , personally i think the host/s done a great job under the circumstances.

So you decided to post this on hearsay? Use an appropriate manner to discuss issues and perhaps PM TORA staff beforehand.
Bear in mind after 10-11 hours people are getting tired, not all the hosts were official marshalls, people not turning up an constant lag issues can all have an effect on how smoothly things run.

Re: MSA TORA 12 Hours of Sebring 2014 Race Day Thread
Everyone was tired, we all just wanted to get the stint finished. All of us starting in the wrong order really didn't have a big impact on the result. Your comment about not letting him host again is a bit harsh. He had hosted previous stints I was in and he did a great job. Hosting isn't easy especially when you've been racing for a couple of hours till about 5am and you're tired.Nick James123 wrote:I have just heard from a team mate of mine that lobby B stint 6 was a complete [Censored] mess, 4 re-starts because a shoddy host couldn't get the bloody settings right, how stupid can you be !! My first ever enduro, double stinted 1 & 2 and couldn't ask for better hosts/organisers. TORA have definitely excelled themself here! Some amazing racing with several drivers, some extremely kind LMP drivers and a few bad crashes but this was a bloody good experience, shame about what happened for the team as we were on for a top 4 in lobby a but this happens! Roll on Le Mans!

This was my first ever go at Hosting and managed to do 3 lobby A races but it certainly wasnt easy if it wasnt for the people who offered without any experience and was willing to jump into the deep end with what must be the more difficult stints to run nobody would have got to race!! Am sure a few hiccups wer better than no race at all!! Under the circumstances i think all hosts did a great job and should be thanked not hammered for a couple of mistakes!! Poor comment
