hopefully getting a wheel soon

Not being able to afford a fanatic I'm going for a Microsoft force feedback wheel on eBay. Have been trying for ages to get one at the price I want. I'm hoping this will be the way I can get my laptimes down as I have always been ok at racing on controller and slightly better on wireless speed wheel but that is so much of a pain to use. Am I doing the right thing by getting the Microsoft one so long after it was made. The alternative is a mad cats force feedback one but I have never liked there stuff. Any advice would be appreciated. Also when is the next spec cup series starting. Hopefully it will co inside with me getting used to the wheel. Lol

The MS wheel is fine, especially if your getting it at a good price. It isn't a bad wheel at all really, the only downside being they're not very robust. They don't stand up to heavy usage all that well. If your not too hard on it, it should serve you well.

The madkatz wheels were not very good from what I read. Probably good that you want to stay away from them.

There was also the Thrustmaster 458 Italia wheel. I believe it was a decent enough unit, but it may not have FFB, I'm not sure. Would be the only detractor.

I got it for 37 quid in the end which I think is a good enough price.mjust hope the seller didn't lie about condition. The plan is to use it while I save for something better.
