Was very surprised by BMR Signing Plato and Turkington. Either they've got something serious up their sleeve or were about to see two potential championship contenders stuck in a mid pack car all season....

He was sensational in qualifying today, very tricky damp conditions and his commitment was incredible - hooking the kerb through Paddock, two wheels in the air, car sliding, was very impressive to watch.

Tomorrows race is live on ITV4 at 3.40pm, and if anyone's at the circuit stop by his garage in the Outer Paddock and pick up a free poster

sutton was unlucky not to win. good race tho

Was a good race to watch and would have been a great debut win had Ash not been barged off in the penultimate corner.

Late update, which you've probably seen on twitter anyway.

Super Sutton's won his first race in the Renault Clios, immediately one round after the one he should have won.

That was an incredible race, 0.6s covering the top 4 at the finish! Heres a photo of the finish:



Ash starts from pole for race 2 on Sunday at 10.05am, and then 2nd on the grid for race 3 at 3.10pm (this race will be live on ITV4). CQR has quite a few members at Donington this weekend, probably found lurking around Ash's garage so if your there come along and say hello!
