Since when is an open wheel track day car and a modified Toyota GT4 category? Also, isn't the Corvette a GT3 racecar? Because I'd love to see that added to the mix.

The Corvette is technically the GTE spec, same as the Aston.
We've done tetsing with the KTM (which has been officially classed in GT4 in the past just not raced in the UK) and the Toyota which is also on a similar pace.
It's just nice to have some less traditional cars in the mix. We looked at the RS.01 which has been recently homologated for GT3 racing but in it's original one-make spec (as in CARS) it's a little too quick.

The Corvette is a GTE class car and will smash the GT3s.

Believe me, I'd love nothing more than to see the Callaway GT3 in the game! Maybe something for CARS 2?

KTM does have a GT4 program that runs in Pirelli World Challenge here in the states. Slightly different car but as long as it fits into testing then it should be ok BoP wise.

Question: are the Mercedes AMG GT3 and the Mercedes SLS GT3 the same car?

The AMG GT3 is this month's free car and ought to be with us in the next week
