Re: Race day weather report with your Host ShrinkingSteven.
Four stints would have been too much, but one (e.g. as the last day stint of day 1 or first day stint of day 2) could have been a cool little change. And with cosmetic damage there's also not much of a drama when forgetting about a puddle (which are actually pretty nicely set - not in the middle of apexes as on other tracks) at some point in the race. But alright...dry race it is.

Would've preferred one or two rain stints, was looking forward to it.

TURN made it work perfectly well at Silverstone although Le Mans isn't the friendliest wet track.

yes, specially the puddles right in the middle of the two chicanes on the Mulsanne straight and no way to dodge them.

Re: Race day weather report with your Host ShrinkingSteven.
To get around Le Mans in the wet you basically have to run all the way down the middle everywhere and heck those chicanes would be the death of pretty much everyone.

Re: Race day weather report with your Host ShrinkingSteven.
Well, from what I know it goes like this in wet:
places to avoid:
puddle in middle of forest esses
puddle at final apex and exit of first chicane
second chicane unavoidable puddle, but slow speeds so isnt much of a downer
outside line of straight towards indianapolis
mid line toward porsche curves
inside curbs on ford chicanes
pit entry line
those are all the places of the black spots to my knowledge. Won't matter since there aren't any rain stints though, just sausage curbs to kill your momentum.

Just don't take the chicanes as narrow as on the dry track?! Maybe go a little slower?!
The track is wet...you can't run on it just like on the dry one. You need to adapt your line to the conditions just like in the real thing.
And after a few training laps you should know where the puddles are. They are not dynamic so they will always be at the same place.
I can upload a tutorial lap if you want
