***Note: Make sure you sign-in before Qualifying, as the Sign-in Form will remain closed between the Qualifying session and the race on the following Saturday. If you cannot make the Qualifying Session, make sure to sign in w/ Race Only***

Qualifying starts @ 3pm EDT (8pm BST), on Sunday, June 26th
Race Day starts @ 5pm EDT (10pm BST) on Saturday, July 2nd
***Make sure you are online at least 20 minutes early and ready to receive your invites***

Round 1, the Daytona 500, like the real series, Will have special qualifying for the event.

Stage 1:
- 2 flying laps to get your best lap in. qualifying lobby will be set to 4 laps, for an Out lap and an In-lap. Once on your 4th lap, please, ALL DRIVERS, stop on the back straight, so lobby hosts can record your times. P1 and P2 times are locked in.

Stage 2:
- 2x 40 lap sprint races to determine the Left and Right side of the grid. positions 3, 5, 7, etc will race in one race, while positions 4, 6, 8, etc will race in the other.

Race Day:
- 500 miles or 200 laps will be split into 5 - 40 lap segments. Lobbies will be set to 41 laps, so the formation/pace lap will not count to the total distance. There will be 1 Quickstop during each segment.

For those That Missed the qualifying races, that were signed in and on Live Timing, And still wish to participate in the Race this Saturday, Please post in this thread with "IN", and the next spot on the grid will be filled in order in which you do so.

So is daytona Fuel and tires with no damage and no tunes? Or am I wrong. Heard a few different ways.

for the ovals, we'll use the "Fuel and Tires Only" settings. So that pitstops will still be a factor.
Road courses, will be Simulation.

Well guys I dropped the ball and didn't realize qualifying was today and missed it. So obviously I'll be in the B lobby. And my question is how is the race going to be scored is there any chance of a B Lobby starter to score a overall win in the race.

OP has been updated folks. I added a list of the drivers who've missed the Qualifying Session, that were signed in, and if they still wish to race, to please post in this thread so they can take the next spot(s) on the grid before Saturday. I'll give this until Saturday @ 3pm EDT (8pm BST).

Unfortunately Tower, your gamertag wasn't in the list on Live Timing, So i cannot accept the entry. Because once I do, i'd have to accept everyone else that completely missed posting in for qualifying. But, not to worry too much, as with all TORA series, there is a "dropped round" factored into these series, which eliminates your lowest scored round (even if its a big ole goose egg). Hope there's no hard feelings
