Pole last year was a 45.578 with the 10% handicap in place (which is in place again this season)

i think with the Wheel/controller disparity at Daytona, 45.6's are outta my reach
edit: just ran 13 laps, hit a 45.748. for a track like Daytona, it'll be hard to find any more than that with a controller

With the .90 handicap at Daytona, on a controller and with the Fusion, I ran a 45.680. Only ran like 7 laps so there is a chance I could move around the track to find a bit more speed, but I feel that might be the best, especially with a controller.

Yeah I feel as if the .90 handicap doesn't slow us down that much. I'm still able to hit 190s easily. Idk if that's the goal of .90 but it would make sense if it was dropped, if we are trying to reach realistic plate track speeds that is.

The best I have done is 45.619 even with the wheel, but most laps are over 45.63. I guess the line does matter even at these slow speeds.

There's a 10% power handicap in place, that time won't have had that applied.
Also, there will be a mandatory car build for the race that has yet to be finalized, so keep an eye out for that

You probably didn't put on the 10% power handicap. Because even with the draft, the fastest time was only a 45.479 using that tune.

Setup → Race Setup → Car Restrictions → Power Handicap (located towards the bottom) → Set to 0.90 → Accept Changes.
