Scuderia JMG has just confirmed there plan for the upcoming TORA LMS Championship. The team's first intention was to run a Porsche 997 GT3 RS in the GT3 class, but the GT2 class was announced and the team decided to move to the big boys. Now, in the GT2 class, Porsche could not provide enough factory support due to other racing commitments. This is the cause of the team name change. Now negotiations are in the works of Scuderia JMG buying a Ferrari 575 Maranello from well known and experienced driver BrnoutJerzey. Brnout will be running his race-tuned Ferrari in the GT2 class. So, Scuderia JMG would like to help IMSA Performance Matmut by buying a tuned car from them. This would help the team and Ferrari, by having more publicity. So if everything goes well Scuderia JMG will run a Ferrari 575 Maranello. Sponsors are still in the talks, but the main ones are in the books.
