1.4 Dropped Rounds
The dropped round will be the competitor’s lowest score. This includes rounds with scores of 0 points, but not rounds when the competitor received a penalty
2. Livery Rules
2.1 This series has defined livery rules that each Competitor must adhere to in order to participate. Failure to do so may suspend participation or result in a disqualification. Livery requirements are at the link below:
https://toraonlineracing.forumotion.net/t21157-tora-ascc-2021-livery-rules
3. Car and Build Rules
3.1 This series has a defined build, or list of cars with defined builds that each Competitor must adhere to in order to participate. Failure to do so may suspend participation or result in a disqualification. Build requirements are at the link below:
https://toraonlineracing.forumotion.net/t21158-tora-ascc-2021-car-list-build-rules#450940
4. Hosting and Marshals
4.1 A race may be split into multiple, numbered lobbies depending on the amount of registered drivers. Each lobbies will be hosted by chosen members of the Marshal Team or TORA Staff designated as the Lobby Host.
4.2 Members of the Marshal Team who have registered but are not designated as a Lobby Host may be expected to host in situations in which they are needed.
4.3 The host of each lobby will be expected to gather data, position Competitors and ensure that regulations are followed.
4.4 In-game lobby settings must be followed and are linked below:
https://toraonlineracing.forumotion.net/t21154-tora-ascc-2021-lobby-settings#450936
5. Qualifying
5.1 The fastest clean lap from a Competitor, as denoted by the timers in the game will be recorded for qualifying.
5.2 Qualifying sessions will last 15 minutes with drivers finishing the lap they are on after 15 minutes has expired.
5.3 The Lobby Host will record the results on the ORM site.
6. Race Format
6.1 Race meetings for this championship will consist of 4 rounds with 45 minutes (in equivalent laps) races and three 1.5 hour races (in equivalent laps). Please check the season calendar for confirmation.
6.2 Each race lobby will be composed of both Prototype and GT entries, split up to ensure as many lobbies as possible have cars from both classes. It is possible that the lowest lobbies may be a single class if one class or the other is lacking in numbers.
6.3 All of the races will commence with a rolling start which will include a formation lap and conclude with an extra 'slow down lap' for Prototype cars at the end of the race to allow the GT field to conclude their race without danger of collision with AI cars. Therefore all races will have TWO additional laps over the advertised race distance. For example: Daytona= 48 laps + 1 Formation Lap + 1 Slow Down Lap = 50 'lobby laps'
6.4 During a rolling start, the field will complete one pace lap at 60 mph in single file and form double-file lines at the end of the lap. The race starts as each row crosses the line.
6.5 The slow down lap requires Prototype cars to form up in a location indicated by the lobby host in the correct finishing order and remain there until the GT field completes their lap. They will then complete the train of cars.
6.6 The lobby host will then make note of the results and request the field to complete the final lap in formation.
6.7 To be clear, after the Prototype winner completes the final race lap, all subsequent cars (P and GT) are to cease racing the next time they cross the line and line up in order.
7. Safety Car
7.1 A safety car may only be called if three (3) or more cars are damaged in an incident.
8. Pit Stops
8.1 There is 1 mandatory pit stop during each race, though more might be required.
8.2 Competitors are allowed to pit as needed for damage to their car in the case of an incident.
