BREAKING NEWS!!!!!
Le Mans officially announced for FM3

Today Turn 10 announced that La Sarthe in its 3 guises WILL be in the game.
So we will have the famous La Sarthe, Bugati track AND the no chicanes variant! How cool is that.
Also shown was a list of a few of the 'race' spec cars we can expect. And they are STUNNING!! The attntion to detail on the internals are second to none. It's simply amazing.

Hmmm, cars look great, BUT! No new cars?? Just the cars from FM2, I was hoping for the R15, AMR and lots more Group C..

I doubt we will get the R15 or Lola-Aston at launch, possibly as a DLC next year. There were about 70 race cars in FM2 and they announced 100+ cars for FM3 so we should get plenty of new, interesting cars. Hopefully a couple of paintable LMPs, such as Courages, Porsches, Acuras, Zyteks, Lolas, and Pescarolos (doubtful).

Wont get the Pescars coz they're sponsored by Playstation. I still maintain that the main reason we have been shown these cars in particular is to show the immense improvements over the FM2 models.
I mean WOW!!!!!!!
One other thing of note. When it says 100 race cars I do think its 100 DIFFERENT cars rather than variants.
For example, the 333SP comes in the MOMO paint as we know, the pics on the site refer to the Risi version as an 'alternate livery' rather than classin it seperately. This would lead me to deduce that you can select the car THEN the livery much in the same way as paint selection with the road cars.
Rather than having, say, a fleet of 'vettes soaking up the car numbers. I reckon that it would be one vette of a particular type with a number of available liveries.

I reckon still LMP2 will be anoduced as a catagorgy along with some more LMP1 cars, and maybe some group c era cars as well.

Looks amazing. I was also a bit annoyed about the fact that they didn;t take that chance to show off some of their new R1 cars, but like Janson said they will probably just be showing off how damn good their new engine it (like we needed proof) and also maybe the fact that maybe they wanted to keep the new cars until later

yea, they've only just announced the game, so they'll wait til closer the time of release before they show pictures of new exciting stuff, like F1 cars?

Its the promoters job to keep the audience interested and excited, mainly just before the games release.

wow the 'intro vid that runs in that second vid is awesome.
And yup the flags are definitely fluttering in the breeze. Even the big wheel is going round. Very Happy
