yeah that was never going to go away.
Having seen quite a few vids it does seem to be abit more lenient now though. So you can use abit more grass at some corners and not get anything. But obviously we will have to see when more tracks are shown.
TBH its the only sensible way to deal with the numpties to cut corners etc just to have their names at the tops of leaderboards.

i agree. it means that the drivers who set fast times are genuinely fast & not cheating by cutting all the corners they can!

Totally Agreee Jenson and Redbeard, cant just cut corners when racing, so all good for leaderboards still to have penalty time.

i also agree with the sticky grass and penalty time. I was going to enter a Gran Turismo challenge whilst at the Le Mans 24 hours in 05 i think, when i was viewing the stage of people driving it, and the mulsanne chicanes didnt exist in their eyes, and basically cut through it, along with other corners, and seemed to be get times sub 3mins 10secs. I just dont think thats right.

i would them to get even more conserative on the penalty timing thing. i mean, if u had deliberately cut a corner, then yeah, you should get penalized, or stuck in the quick-sand. but if it was only like the tires going over onto the far-inside of the rumble strips, then that should be ok, no?

Also, the other week, i went to the nearest GameStop on the way home from work to preorder the C.E. version of fm3. Very Happy Laughing

The new screenshots on forza.net are stunning though, of the R10, 908 and La Sarthe.

do you think it would be reasonable to expect the R15 in the release, or is it more likely as a DLC. im with the first due to the apparent link with audi.

i wouldnt mind seeing the R15, whenever it shows up (on game disc or DLC), but i'll probably use for, oh, about 5 minutes b4 i run away from the burning heap. i cant race R-class cars to save my life. im either the slowest guy on the track, or wreckin it. Razz
