ROC is stock tuning isnt it?

(please tell me it is guys!!!)

Yes but this was mainly from championships with tuning and i doubt tuning will be allowed in this so its happy days for everyone with an even playing field i am really looking forward to this

tuning makes a quick driver just a bit quicker so im not worried if there's no tuning i did very well in the seat cup winning quiet a few races lol

true and i remember having a great battle with you at Sunset and this will be the first time in TORA history we will see Plow TheButcher racing without a tune

no way really?

That would be fantastic if no tunes were allowed. That way, you can really see who's the fastest of the fastest. If you get my drift! lol
Shame me and butcher have to wait until the semi finals, but oh well!

contrary to your thinking Nick I do race outside of Tora, being a legend 35 doesn't come from just tuning you know but of course it helps. I've done loads of stock car racing and certainly hold my own so i don't mind either way, but the cars do need to be a decent pi as sedona is a big track soo c upwards would be good

I have just read the end of this thread and those of you who believe a tune gives you magical tenths during a race your wrong a good tune is nice to have but if your not quick its not going to help. So my advice either learn how to tune!!! Or put some more practise in!!!

in a way, your right Dizzy. i once gave a couple friends my speed-track B700 '04 STi in FM2, but they couldnt get around places like Nurburg or Sebring as fast as i could. (it was once a top 100 car b4 the missiles appeared. i looked back at the best time at sebring with it after the missiles, and a month or so b4 the launch of Fm3, and it was no longer a top-1000)

but if this series is indeed a Stock-TUNE, spec P.I. thing, then the driver ability comes into play more! and im looking forward to it! i've never raced against Tubbi or Kris b4, so this will be interesting..

ok. so the ROC is in a week, so any ideas as to what car will be ran? or are we going to be left in the dark til the day of the race?

It wouldn't be right to announce the cars before the event because if the guys did, we would all be testing them and that wouldn't be the point of doing this race of champions.

thats how i felt after i posted that Dan. but hopefully, when the event starts, we may have enough time to 'quick paint' them (i.e.: throw our tora number on the car somewhere)?
