i thought pole was a 1.33.9 soz i did a 1.35.0 in a R10 with nicks tune. im actully rather liking the r10 but never tryed the r15 as im saving up for it while im offline, (cant seem u unlock it though i downloaded it while i was online)

if the r10 turns of faster i thinking ill be changing when i can...

Question for qualifying on Tsukuba. Are there going to be mixed lobbies? The R1 cars are running 45 second laps. At a 5 second delay that means the last GT2 car will start 40 seconds into the first cars lap. Not even counting the 9 car lengths you're back from the line starting off last. This car will be in the way the entire race. Selective Rogue will be the host of the one room I see. The only way he has a fair shot at qualifying for him and the other cars in his room is to wait until they all finish and then go.

Collisions are on in qualifying and purposely uncertifying a lap here will cost you a ton of time and a good chance at wrecking. I can't hit a rumble or grass in my car or I'll see the the wall or about .5 fall off my time. I'm sure it's the same in other cars. This is also going to be an issue when people give gaps to the cars in front of them. Not a problem when cars are running on bigger tracks. It will be when the GT2's are running 52 seconds and flying up on the last guy whose started with cold tires.

Would it not be a lot easier to A) let the GT2 car wait until P1 and P2 have finished or B)have smaller qualifying lobbies?

Oh you could also hold two different qualifying sessions if there isn't enough hosts. One for people that can come in earlier (say 30 minutes) and another at the regular time. Just don't update the live board until all times are finished so no one has an advantage on knowing what time to run

As far as possible, no. The hosts may nost be in the same class. The grid will be set to PI order. Lobbies are on Live Timing.

That's why the session is a set number of laps rather than time - if he chooses to pull over and wait that's fine. If he chooses not to, it's your responsibility to not hit him and vice versa - that's life I'm afraid.

Permissable. Advisable. Not forced. If he chooses just to go, and you have to negotiate him, that's just another factor of race technique that applies in the real world.

Possible, but it's hard enough wrangling 6 lobbies of 8. 12 lobbies of 4 for example, would be a total nightmare.

This would overly complicate the situation in my opinion, and slow down what is intended to be a quick process.

Like chris said, quily lobby A has 8 P1 cars not affected, Lobby B has 7 P1 and 1 P2 not a problem, Lobby C 2 P1's, 5 P2's and 1 GT2 this is the problem lobby with all classes in but think about it 4 people on that list I dont think will be attending so will only have 4 cars in that lobby. Lobby D and E are all GT2 cars so no problems

Glad my lobby isn't mixed then, I think mixing lobbies here is going too far to be honest. If I had a P1 coming right up behind me on my flying lap...you can think again If he is getting past.

Why not turn collisions off? I know "oohh it's not like real life" is all I'm going to get back here but since when do the LMS series run round such a small track like Tsukuba?

If 1 person ruins my Qually, I refuse to race.

ALMS races around Limerock park which is slightly longer track than tsukuba by .1 miles. If they can do it with 30 sum odd cars with out communication I think we can do it with 8 cars and communication

This track has huge flaws for the way this series is setup.

like i said before guys this race will be as successfull as you guys make it it be, going into it with a bad aditude and slagging it off before anything even happens is not going to make it that great of a race then is it? by having a positive aditude towards it you could end up having fun. no it's not real life, it's a game so stop treating it like it is real life and that your physical safety is at risk doing this... unless you have seizure while racing but they give warnings that videogames do that.

It's not as much of being negative as it is explaining a valid situation and being basically told "deal with it". If someone had their qualifying ruined week in and week out in real life they would change the rules to prevent it. In real life....professional drivers running consistent times close to one anothers. Here.....not so much.

I will be pulling over on my out lap out of the way and waiting on everyone to finish. Then I'll go grab my clean qualifying session while everyone else waits.

Also my main concern regarding the race is it being recorded by times right?

Now I've never had much problem with that, but on Tsukuba it could play a huge factor in the race results. A GT2 driver could be better off in a lobby full of GT2 cars instead of a multi class lobby. I might be wrong but that's the way I'm seeing this. Say if I qualified in the top 3 of GT2 and the rest were Prototypes, I would lose alot more time than what I would of in a room full of GT2's.

I understand it's a hot topic Chucky but the what is the lesser of the two evils? Me having a clean session that no one but myself can ruin or someone having to wait 4 minutes on me to finish my laps?

I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm really not. This is a game though, I play it for fun not to get upset at qualifying each week. The simple solution is to turn off collisions in qualifying but that isn't happening until someone of power gets crashed and decides realizes the problem.
