i havent really done any practice at iberian, so if anyone wants a go, ive got time today (called out of work today. nearly another foot of snow overnight; i dont think ive ever seen this much snow in one season here in New England)

As I have read in the above post and spoke to a number of you regarding Iberium Reverse, we do listen and we are open to changing the track for round 3 next week.

Laguna Seca or Silverstone International have been suggested the most to me.

So Please feel free to discuss and I will gauge your reaction and then make an annoucment by 2mw night

So we can change the track but we can't change qualifying rules to no collisions? I was told we don't change rules but venues is apparently okay.
I wouldn't have chosen the Rossion, which will get killed at Road America, if I didn't think it would do well at Iberian. Don't like the track for racing but it was there.
I'll scratch my head and sit from now on

i highly doubt the Rossion will fall flat at Road Am. for the longest time i used a high powered RWD-Ford GT in A class there, and just for the hell of it once in the A-class RWD hopper, i pulled out my Mugello tune for the Rossion, and beat my Ford GT time on the LB (the GT and i had the hardest time breaking past a 2:10 i believe. been a while since i checked my LB time there)

Hmfff I happen to like Iberian even in the Ford GT.

Is the track changing? Need to know as i'm starting my testing and it would be nice to be at the right track.

Personally we should stick the calendar as is.. I have couple reasons to say this.

1) We've a load of rules around car and team member swaps, but this doesn't cover the most important bit, which track we'll be on? - People will have started testing and tuning based on the full calendar, possibly built strategy around which tracks to be strong at etc.

2)We are always at silverstone or Laguna.. Why not something a little different? yes they are proven race tracks with a pedigree and the forza made one are a little cack on occassions, but its one race in a short championship.

3) as mentioned this is short championship, if at the end we all say "We hate sedona and we hate Iberian" the next championship will leave them out.

Finally look on the bright side, its not amalfi coast for an hour...

Exactly its a short championship so why race a crap track? Its all about the racing at the end of the day and all thats going to happen round there is follow the leader. Im sure they will make a decision soon so theres plenty of time to practice.

Hey all,

From the various forms of feed back we have received regarding round 3 of the Winter GT we have decided to change round 3 to Silverstone International.

Silverstone International is a the Traditional GT Circuit for which we all have had great race meetings in the past.

I do apologise about the short notice but I wanted to gauge opinions before making the announcement was made.

Agreed it wasn't the best track but it was still the track. When I asked about changing one setting in qualifying I was told "we don't change rules mid-season". I have been hurt in 2/3 qualifiers I was in by cars in front of me. Yet we can change venues 6 days prior to racing.

Worm, I understand the short notice and I did make this clear last week, Regards to the qualifying issue we do have a steward enquiry process which should be untilised, contact Chucky1982 and yes regards to qualfiying we have made ajustements and made it clear with the roll off delay and telling drivers to give each other room has been made clear but we do listen and if we have enough complaints rules can be ajusted
