And people complain about TORA.
Really, these (including us) are all silly online communities that just want to drive virtual cars, silly polotics is to be expected!

Re: IFCAGATE!! Looks like I might be back before planned!!!
I might come back but tbh most members of the IFCA are already on making a new site, unless Chilled is back in then the IFCA is dead.
Early days but this is where we seem to be going until the 2 knobs running the IFCA see sense. http://wfca.forumotion.org/
Over a 1000 members race at the IFCA, all of them most likely to head over to the new site.

Re: IFCAGATE!! Looks like I might be back before planned!!!
Any chance some of them might like to try racing here? We're already established, and they could test the waters with GT3 tomorrow, and NGTC on Tuesday. Also all other nights are available for community-organised series or events, supported by staff.
Amazing to see the Ban Hammer coming out in force - loads of people banned from the IFCA forum now.

Blimey!!
While I don't fully understand the reasons beind the changes at IFCA and obviously cannot fully comment, it is sad to see such a well respected community in apparent disarray.
Hope order is restored over there soon.

I'll try and have a word with Hellbringer and see what he thinks, it is possible a VVV team will be running here. We all still need to hear from both Hellbringer and Chilled, only then can we all make decisions on where we want to be.
You probaly should expect some new members, I'll try and see what people think about moving here. (Now that AJ isn't here)

Re: IFCAGATE!! Looks like I might be back before planned!!!
Ok mate. Thanks for the heads up. I feel we can offer a good run of series for 2011 and any new teams are always welcome to TORA

...and if we're not running what you want to see, we can provide a venue for organising what you DO want to. (I understand that many IFCA members are "overseas", hence why you seem to race much later in the day than us. This may create some new opportunities at TORA for those in the same boat if people were organising sessions for similar times. TORA Round-The-Clock, coming to an xbox near you soon!!)
Re: IFCAGATE!! Looks like I might be back before planned!!!
20 Pages in one Day..... this is a big issue.
What do you reckon TORA, not all of them at once?

Re: IFCAGATE!! Looks like I might be back before planned!!!
See thats the problem we have talked about a little, Don and Eries did nothing for the IFCA. All rules, paints, tunes...anything and everything is made my Chilled and Hellbringer. Each series is owned by certain teams, VVV Hellbringer owns the JGTC series, EZT own the stockhatch series and so fourth.
Problem with moving to an already established series is the huge amount of members, were not sure if anywhere can handle in influx of 700+ members moving somewhere else.
It's all abit confusing at the moment.

if any do come over this would be the only logical way, get a couple of them here let them see what we're about if they like us they may stay if they dont they'll go, hopefully it's the first and then hopefully the good word spreads out and eventually they'll be here

Re: IFCAGATE!! Looks like I might be back before planned!!!
Everyone has difference of opinion, not just in online racing, but everything, if they all jump ship at once, can you imagine the range of opinion then?
Maybe all of them at once would be an ace move on TORA's part, I'm not saying that it wont be a bad idea :-S.

Re: IFCAGATE!! Looks like I might be back before planned!!!
Slim, I know what you're saying about the possible influx, but as we run on only two days it does give a HUGE amount of leaway for others within the community to run their own things the rest of the time when TORA races aren't on.
We are fully supportive of community driven initiatives nowadays after all! And with the days off, as I say, regardless of time zone things can certainly be done. If VVV or any of the other organisers wish to use our free days we're more than happy to accommodate that.

Re: IFCAGATE!! Looks like I might be back before planned!!!
A serious offer of interest should go here then Matt.

Something i'd like you all to do is this:
Look at the 2007 Season
Look at the 2010 Season
Can you tell the difference? How do you think that difference came about? 2007 is when i first came into the forum aspect after initially doing just web work
This didn't happen by accident, required work, time, effort. And it was not a collaborative effort
It pains me, but if not going to be in an organisational role where i can bring my expertise and skills to the table, then i will take them elsewhere
So, at this moment in time, i am seriously considering something new. If this is something that you are interested in, please feel free to email me at ash_jarratt@hotmail.com so i can gage interest at the prospect of this new venture
NOTE TO ALL THAT HAVE PAID MONEY - i am in control of it and no, i will not rip you off Wink BUT, finances are going to take some time to sift through because i need to figure what needs to go where. For this, i need the information in the opening post of the IFCA Revenue thread - please someone PM this to me

Re: IFCAGATE!! Looks like I might be back before planned!!!
Chilled is a very respectful guy, one of the most highly rated racer in Forza...He doesn't play much anymore but FM1 he was a bloody animal. This is Eries trying to make him look bad, simply because he was jealous of how popular Chilled had become. Chilled WAS the IFCA, he did everything while Eries and Don sat back and done nothing. Neither even bothered to Race or post.
I would say it's worth contacting Chilled to see if he wants a position here, where Chilled goes so does everyone else.

This is a very dark episode, and its not even ours, this is proper money people are dealing with too. It puts the whole PLOW decal issue into perspective.

An offer has been extended to chilled as well as many of the other teams. if anyone here races with any other team that we may not have contacted get them to contact either myself or another member of the staff and we will make the same offer to them
