Re: NGTC Meeting 2 Discussion Thread – Sunset Peninsula (Full Circuit)
Sorry Couldnt make it last night, hope you all had fun
Racing is life, anything before or after is just waiting
Re: NGTC Meeting 2 Discussion Thread – Sunset Peninsula (Full Circuit)
Cant see that pic, damn this pc.
Great racing in my lobbys last night.
I pushed too hard in race 1 done a two wheel moment that ended in a no wheel momemt with everyone behind me getting pass safely to my suprise. so that was race 1 over
Racce 2 ck moved up and britcar come down, a crazy first lap second corner tangle ruined GTR's race. me and ianmr was pulling away from the feild at the front and I was pulling into 80feet coming out of the infeild section but ian had alot more speed down the staight and by turn 1 up to 240feet by turn 5 down to 150feet. Decided to pit on lap 4 and see if ian wlould make any mistakes out in front, this was not the case and ian pitted on lap 13 and rejoined infront of me with a bigger gap then before.
Enjoyed the race and thanks PLOW for a quick tune for race 2, managed to get the car in 1:34 with damaged aero still not fast but for me that is.
Well done to GTR (chris) and culchi (shane) great job out there tonight for the team to finish 18, 19 and 20 overall its good result, even more for shane who said yes to racing at 18:30 and didnt get on till 19:50 so hadnt driven the car before hand well done guys

Ash, you need to get your facts right before telling me that I always do something when I don't.
If that was a mistake running wide, then thats fine. But if people are using that area as a racing line every lap, then it's not right. We have all been told about this and if people don't listen and do it deliberately to gain an advantage, then thats an issue isn't it?

dan i have sat and watched your replay and seen you go and do the same thing, i dont even think it is me for starters but, just dont be so picky because i could post up about 4 photos of you doing it, but i aint picking, not everyone can be perfect every lap.
i admit i probs run wide 2-3 times but so did the rest of my lobby and yours.

Re: NGTC Meeting 2 Discussion Thread – Sunset Peninsula (Full Circuit)
Seen al the replays now and dont think theres anyone who raced last night who didnt run wide. If your not running wide at some points then your not pushing hard enough. Thats just my opinion.

Dan: No Ash......I am your father!
Ash: No. No. That's not true. That's impossible!
Dan: Search your feelings, you know it to be true!
Ash: [anguished] No! No!
Re: NGTC Meeting 2 Discussion Thread – Sunset Peninsula (Full Circuit)
I know at leaset once I ran wide and nearly smacked the wall where it starts going back in again, it will be something that will be hard to manage on this track as these's sort of cars will tend to go over the limit on that corner. If we have to issue out penitys then there will be loads issued.

Is this a PLOW driver having a stab at me like in the past?? Seems bloody like it!
You can take as any pics as you like! I couldn't give a monkees anymore. I have never used any of those parts of the circuit in my days of racing in TORA. And if I did, they were mistakes when I thought I could put the power down but the car understeers wide. Or if I left my braking too late.
If no-one has used the run-off areas, then thats great. But judging by previous events in the past, we as TORA members have to be a bit careful. Thats why I sort of questioned that car in the run-off area. Because we don't know if it was deliberate or a mistake.

Maybe that PLOW driver out-braked himself or got on the power.

Not that I'm trying to become the new spelling/grammar police, but if I'm taking the P out of one person, it's only fair......
