Please run it on a Saturday, Monday or Wednesday. Because I want to take part in it, and I am one of the only people who works Friday.

My final thoughts:

Running this on a different day, compared to Thursday or Friday would mean you would see me take part in something. That I would do well in, which on the whole is a rare sight.

I'm sorry that you're not able to do it on a Friday Jamie, but we can't change it to satisfy one person. It has to be a joint decision between all of us who are taking part in this. I'd be happy to do it any day of the week but Friday is most realistic for us because of the fact people work during the week and friday night is ideal for people.

That's not to say that we won't come and stab you in the head at the weekends as well, if that's what you want!

Yeah as much as I'd love to accomodate you Jamie the general concensus is that Friday would suit 99.9% of the community perfectly.

We can always have a few games on a weekend too for you to join in?

I can't do Fridays, but hopefully I can catch up with some of you at some point. BFBC2 (and MAG on the PS3) are my two favourite console shooters.

I've never really got on with the COD series for some reason.

Format:
Type of Gameplay: Squad Rush
Number of Maps: 2-3
Number of Teams: 2
Members per Roster: 15
Members per Match: 4 (3 minimum)
Rounds: 2 per map
Friendly Fire: On
3D Spotting: Off
Vehicle Third Person: On
Crosshair: On
Kill Cam: Off
Hardcore: Off
Minimap: On
Minimap Spotting: On
Map Selection: Randomly selected by site
Side Selection: Attacking team gets side selection on the first two maps. The defending team will have side selection on the third map if it is neccesary
Server Selection: Defending team gets server selection if both teams are capable of providing a server

-How You Win:
Matches will consist of two teams playing two maps. Each team will play as the attacker and defender on each map. If the teams are tied after both maps (4 rounds), then play will resume on a third map.

Scoring will be done as follows:

Blowing 2 MComm stations = 2 points
Blowing 1 MComm station = 1 point
Blowing 0 MComm stations = 0 points

Matches will be scored based on total points, NOT rounds won.


-Out Of Bounds Tactic:
Attacking M-COMM from out of bounds (aka as Attackers Base/Uncap) is illegal. You MUST leave your uncap to attack the M-COMM



-Destroying the M-Comm:

Deliberately firing RPG's, 40mm's, Mortars, AT-4's at the M-COMM with the intent of destroying it is illegal. This includes firing at the building the M-COMM is located in with the intent of destroying it.
You as a team are responsible for capturing video of this. If you cannot provide us evidence, we will not even consider your dispute. Evidence must be video. Screenshots are not acceptable.
In the event of this tactic being used, PLAY OUT THE MATCH and dispute afterwards. Do not stop playing. This rule will be enforced at the discretion of the admins.
The punishment for the use of this tactic will be LOSS OF ROUND.



Weapons Restriction:
The following weapons a prohibated and must not be used during the match:

-M60
-Carl Gustav
-Mortar



-Medic Class Limit:
Each team may only have one player in the "medic skin" at any one time. Teams may pick up a dead player's kit, but deliberately killing a teammate in order to grab their medic kit will result in competition suspensions and possible team punishments. Teams caught having two players in a "medic skin" at one time will be forced to forfeit the match. Evidence must be indisputable.

This rule may also be enforced via Guardian.

-Overtime (3rd map)
The defending team will have side selection for the first round of this map. Teams will play a two round series until one team is able to blow up more stations than the other. Each team will have the opportunity to play as the Attacker and Defender at least once in each series.

-Team Captains
Teams founders are allowed to appoint a maximum of three team captains for this ladder. If we catch a team with additional captains then we will randomly remove the excess captains' status and may kick players if it becomes a persistent problem.

I vote for BC2, I love both of them, but for this type of league gaming BC2 is best.

Not played Rush yet so that could be fun. So what thats sayin is that you have to go in and disable the station manually right?

Yea got rules off a site I used to do cod 4 clan matches, so no mortars rockets tanks shells at station close combat only

So I take it, this still won't be run on a weekend. Because I might of done one of the teams proud.

But if not, then can I run a Battlefield series after this one has ended.

We've traditionally run these on a Friday night.

I just have to wait, until this has finished before running my own one. However I doubt my own one, will get any sign up's.

But I was hoping you lot, would run it on another day.

I had my first taste of Rush today and lets say I found it to be a bit of an acquired taste.

So here's my question. Just to gauge interest.

Would there be much buy in to playing CoD Black Ops instead?

Or, if we HAD to stick with BFBC2 then would there be any buy in to play Conquest intead?

Basically I prefer CoD over BFBC2, not by much, but only just, and I'd much rather run the league on that instead of BFBC2.

So if I switched to CoD, which has historically been the series this league has ran on, would people still participate or not?

Not a big fan of CoD. Would prefer BFBC2 as it's always felf more of a team game to me...
