ISCC Meeting 2 Discussion Thread – Tsukuba (Full Circuit)
Sunday 12/02/11 is Meeting 2, Round 2 at Tsukuba starting at 20:00GMT
Race Format
Qualifying
qualifying 15 min. with colisions on, make your own space and run how ever many laps and dirty laps will count and not penalize you.
Race 1 (Round 2)
1Hour
-Lobbies will be mixed with 4 cars from each class. (ex. lobby one = 4 P1 cars and 4 P2 Cars, lobby two =4 P2 Cars and 4 GT2 Cars and lobby three will be 4 P1 Cars and 4 GT2 Cars)
-Rolling starts
-With mixed lobbies comes greater risk of accidents, it is imperative that the faster cars take the needed steps to ensure a clean pass, slower cars you are to race your line, and it is up to the faster cars to find a way around, DON'T try to help them by moving over, because you may just be moving over into their path.
Last Time Out
Motegi
30 cars took to the track at this event fighting for the top spot, in Qualifying Pole positions were given to,
1:33.752 – PLOW Berty2d – 2d Tuning
1:39.924 – Chucky 1982 – Coca Cola P2 Racers
1:50.675 – AAR Hybrid – Full Tilt Racing
In the race we had 4 lobbies with some close battles and with mixed classes proved much success here.
Race 1 Winners
P1 – PLOW Berty2d
P2 – Chucky 1982
GT2 – PLOW TheBucther
Championship
Drivers Championship Top 5
Teams Championship Top 3
Back On Track
With mixed lobbies and close running this will be a fun night as with testing for this event

Re: ISCC Meeting 2 Discussion Thread – Tsukuba (Full Circuit)
In!
I think that this is going to be a bad round for us in the Aston Martin. I'll drive my socks off as per usual but I just can't seem to get our car below 45 seconds a lap around here. Its basically damage limitation. Traffic will play a role but not much I don't think unless the faster guys suffer with any damage at some point.
I think this will be a battle between LFCNICKLFC and VVV Magictap I think because the Audi is more suited here than at Motegi.
Jamie, this is meeting two not one! lol

Re: ISCC Meeting 2 Discussion Thread – Tsukuba (Full Circuit)
i've hardly done any practice as of yet but i've managed a 44.7 and am running consistant 44.8's and 44.9's, there's definately a couple of tenths to be found still as i'm using the same tune that i used at Motegi, traffic will definately decide the outcome of the race, basically i cant wait

44.358 as my fastest so far, running concistant high 44's and low 45's.. Allthough Ive only hit the track once doing about 15-20 laps.. 44.3 seemed like a pretty clean lap though..
Re: ISCC Meeting 2 Discussion Thread – Tsukuba (Full Circuit)

not really that was just good racing, but you're almost a second quicker than me with 5% less power

WHAT? Nearly two seconds quicker around a tiny circuit? Thats taking the piss! (sorry for the language). I don't know now whether theres any point turning up or not.
Are there any dropped rounds in this overall championship or not?

Re: ISCC Meeting 2 Discussion Thread – Tsukuba (Full Circuit)
I'll just stop my preperation for tsukuba and start with Suzuka I think. We'll be at the race and we have a set-up for Sunday so. Plus if the form book goes to plan, I'll have the 5% power restriction taken away from the car at Suzuka. I knew that myself, Adrian and Johnny in the Aston team were gonna do badly at Tsukuba but not this much.

Dan, why? I mean what if the leaders crash or hit traffic, come on dude dont be stupid.
I mean can you imange if Audi had said that at the start of le mans last year.....remember who won its endurance not a sprint race

LOL dude but serious if we all did that then non of would race except for the top drivers, come on Dan you are a quick driver plus it is all about having fun.
@ Motegi with the P1 and P2 cars darting past every few laps it was so much fun

Yeah I know. This time is probably gonna be a destruction derby tournament rather than a sports car race. lol
Thanks for telling me that I am quick (even though I doubt it! lol) but not even I can get this Aston below 45 seconds around Tsukuba. I've tried doing all sorts to the set-up but the car isn't in the same leaque as the diesels. Plus I'm gonna get the feeling that even Shane's gonna beat me in the Acura! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! lol
