The Tour of Duty
Newcomer team Ravenwest Racing will make their arrival at Nurburgring, Silverstone and will even make the entire leg of Europe (If they can renew their ID cards).
Whilst they wont be challenging for any titles, they hope to be competitive enough to keep up with VVV and Gulf Austins Motorsport.
The Yoko pin, which is synonymous with the epic Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann was fitted on by a pit member of Ravenwest; They hope that it should bring luck and encouragement during the many battles that they face.

To be honest with you, we only ran a lap. But thats because weve been trying to preserve our tyres. We only have 1 set of spare tyres to use until we get to the next round.
Its 6 hours time till the race begins, so we're watching "The Motivational program". In other words, shows like Mock the Week, Cowboy Bebop, Top Gear and Friends.

As is our win we claimed last night.
Mind you, we were right up there with the Red Bull and Royalty herself (thats right, the Gulf Aston), and my god she looked pretty. Its a shame our cat and mouse game didnt last long (Gulf-a get ya next time!) As to what the team did after they learned they won, well we'd partied like it was 1999.

Well, here we are at last! At Mugello. The one track that I (and the team) hate. Mind you, the restrictors dont really help matters (but hey, rules are rules).
No matter though, we deglazed a set of brakes and got a fastest lap of 1.28:286.

Umm...Looks like Ravenwest will have to skip this one.
Whilst deglazing a set of brakes, the car almost immediately lost its floor. Happily, it wasn't to big of a problem and we got it repaired, checking if there was anything else wrong. However, it then got worse. Whilst finishing up the pracice session, the shock absorbers had completely failed, and the front wheels almost exploded under the pressure. As a result, we decided to skip Mugello. Rest assured, you can see us at Silverstone.
