As was the case last year travis. I remember trying to keep PLOW TheButcher's Lambo behind me on the straights but I was getting away in the corners with that Ford GT mk7

Depending on the GT24 series, the GT3 cars may remain unchanged

Re: TORA MSA N24 Discussion
Only 4 classes? The real N24 had something like 407 different classes

Re: TORA MSA N24 Discussion
Yea sure there will be more next year for the 24 hours of the ring but most of the cars will be available from the real life N24 just in 4 classes plus we will have more testing data by next year

Re: TORA MSA N24 Discussion
Did I read correctly earlier this month that the 458 stock championship would be one of the classes?

Re: TORA MSA N24 Discussion
Wow this looks mega!
Quick question, would it be possible (as a privateer and in the lowest class) to run with a second driver? So we can do stints, don't worry it is someone who is competent and knows the rules!
Will just make it interesting and even more endurance realistic (and get someone else involved in TORA )

Re: TORA MSA N24 Discussion
I'm not going to say no. This race will be done in one sitting so you would need to be on the same Xbox. And if im honest I would live to see both of you ran a car and race each other
Yes, it will be mega!! Can't wait.

Re: TORA MSA N24 Discussion
Ok, thanks!
Couple more questions(sorry if they seem stupid or obvious)
I'm not sure what you guys can lap the ring in a gt2 car in, but I work out its roughly 1.30/2mins faster than gt-awd etc therefor 24 laps will take about 40/50 mins longer meaning if we're driving a gt2 car...there is gonna be a long wait at the end? I'm ok with it, but just wanted to highlight it
2. Will there be any special decals other than the usual TORA ones like class boards or n24 logos to go on the cars?
I can't wait for this

Re: TORA MSA N24 Discussion
Not sure it will be that long as in my GT-AWD testing I was hitting around the 7.55-53 mark and in a GT2 I am lapping around the 7.27-28 mark so not that much of a difference. Only around 15-20 seconds per lap.
Yes there will be number boxes issued out as people sign up.

Re: TORA MSA N24 Discussion
so, im a lil confused, this is my first race with you guys, really excited, its really hard to find people to do eduro's with these days and even harder to find ones that are so well organised. Duke of Bruno has told me so many good this about you guys and all the races you do and when he told me about this race i had to join. anyway, i was reading the rules and regulations early and i saw there was a rolling start, but i didn't understand any of it :s can someone please help me with this? and also, is a 8:05 a good lap time for the GT3 class in a Z4? thanks guys, really excited for the race
Re: TORA MSA N24 Discussion
basically, the Rolling start, from my understanding, will work like this: when the grid forms up @ the 'starting line', everyone will carefully and at a relatively safe speed line up by qually times, and use the part of the track that by passes the pits as the true starting point. if i am off on this Ian, please correct me.
