What a load of trash that was!!
I swear this connection problem is getting far, far too stupid for mine and everyone's liking.
I might as well not bother racing at all!!

Dan, the connection problem is one that has plagued Forza since it came out. There was no other option.

aww, the same driver to win all the races hasn't been done before i don't think, unless luckier managed it last season but i don't think he did lol
what happened to Mr Marchbanks?

Re: Rounds 1, 2 and 3: 9th December 2008 - Maple Valley Short - SIGN-UPS CLOSED!
AJthebutcher won the first two races, but tubbiboy did not win the third. The lobbies are reversed, so whoever won lobby B takes the outright race 3 win.

A good well organised event guys well done!!!
Shame I had two races marred by collision. Both IMO racng incedents so I aint too bothered. Will take pics of them tho just coz I reckon they will look good!!
Sorry to DAN who caught up in my little tussle with AJ..... mind you TWICE I turned into Turn 1 and had a car or two broadside infront of me lol.
Never. Hit. One!!!!

Re: Rounds 1, 2 and 3: 9th December 2008 - Maple Valley Short - SIGN-UPS CLOSED!
That's how I've run it all along. I have my xbox connected to my modem router.
Anyway, I didn't realise that the last race results were reversed, so it's nice that I won something for once.
It was just the first two races that went a bit wrong.
Jenson mate. You don't have to apologise. And neither does Ian. It was just one of them things.
I just got a bit mad because of the fact that I had to drop down for the third time in a row. And also not realising at the time about the reverse lobbies for race three.

Dan, I have no doubt you've checked your NAT settings, but maybe it's worth dropping xbox tech support a line, see what they suggest.

Yeah mate it was very good indeed. I didn't run anything on the basis that I still feel rusty and wanted it to run smoothly. Was really impressed withthe procedure and boy did it go better that the first event of S1!!!
Bring on race 2

Just one thing I want to mention though!
How did the limited damage go? Did it ruin anything, or did it add to the intensity?
I am also please to hear there were no stewards enquiries!!!!

limited damage was alright, despite it being tin tops Great fun, great to be in the A Lobby, but slightly disapointed in going off and losing two podium finnishes in races 2 and 3 But, well done guys! The 4WD's were unstoppable, but I guess we will see at Suzuka

yeah i didn't realize u won marchie since i wans't there for it. Ah well, the first AND last shall we say?
Re: Rounds 1, 2 and 3: 9th December 2008 - Maple Valley Short - SIGN-UPS CLOSED!
Limited damage for me, was not a good idea. I got T-boned by Ck in the reverse grid race at the hairpin, which gave me a lot of damage, thus i was 2 seconds off the pace, then an incident with paul gave me even more damage.
It just toally ruins your race and its frustrating when you know you could have finished in the top 3 at every race. Dont get me wrong, this was great fun, but it would make it more fun if the damage was cosmetic.
Another thing, rolling starts have to be enforced, no doubt. The AWD's get far too much of an advantage off the line and im sure they will agree, it just blows your chances every race and the FWD's are always on an up hill struggle to catch them again...

Plow Motorsport collectively agree with the above comments. rolling starts i think will make it fairer on everyone. we did suggest this but i think it wanted to be trialed before being enforced.

Re: Rounds 1, 2 and 3: 9th December 2008 - Maple Valley Short - SIGN-UPS CLOSED!
Really enjoyed the racing its was great, sorry i couldn't finish 2nd race, xbox crashed.
I do have a few issues, why are the lobbies reversed for 3rd race, I won the race fair and square and worked hard on the car to get into the top lobby, i then ran the fastest lap in the 2 races i could complete thanks to my xbox. I also started the third race from last place (because of my xbox crash) even though i had not won the previous race but still came through to win but have not been award the win, doesn't feel fair to me, is the objective to even up the score board?
The method of evening everything up has been tried and tested in realtime btcc where the grid gets reversed not the points.
So what was the purpose of racing in the third race, to come last to score more points!.
every race has a total race time, from this the overall placings can be made, in which case it does not matter which lobby you race in, everyone is racing together on the score board, this is the only true way of achieving a scale of achievement for the people who have worked very hard on making the cars and practicing the tracks, dan would have to complain about connections problems as any lobby he get into will count towards his series score.
Please make this happen as I feel robbed of a hard fought win and want the series to be fair FOR EVERYONE.
