Yea i'm thinking of making them 1.30 min stints for the first race.

But i'm unsure, ok it looks like we will run this on a saturday (like real VLN).

Date wise I was thinking around the 14th or the 28th of July?

TASCAR starts July 14th and runs every saturday until September 29th.

The 28th would work for me. Hoping that I will have as solid a teammate as I do for the 24... which leads me to my other Q: why only 4 hours? I'd much rather do 6, 8 or 12 hours. As for 24, let me see how I feel after LeMans this weekend.

Every Saturday from now until the end of September (save for 1 weekend which is Britcar 24) is TASCAR.

I've got an endurance fever, and the only prescription is more VLN.

Is there any news on what is happening with this? Is this just sitting on the back burner waiting or is this going to be scrapped? OR, have things been secretly setup and there will be a TORA VLN race next weekend?

Time is pretty limited for us just now, if a VLN is going to happen it will probably be in November at the earliest. With the TEC Nurburging race that may not happen, but we will be doing it eventually Razz

I really keen to get this up and running.

Again as Richy said, the TORA calendar is busy with loads of other exciting events!!

However this has NOT been scraped but just awaiting a slot in the calendar to run.

Considering that I have had a few of these cars built for a couple months already I am eager to get this going. Glad to know that this has not been scrapped.

Going back and looking through the VLN posts I am left wondering if this is meant to be a one-time event or will we be seeing something of a series for this?

I would love to see this a a series and the originally ideal was to have it as a small TEC with the races only being 4 hours long and normally 2 people to a car (1 stint each).

Also the idea was to have it round the Ring but also rounds at very small track to build up traffic congestion to make it feel like there was more people in the lobby and traffic management was key.

Wonder what the up take on that would be?

I would obviously be up for it.

So, 1 race every about 2 months, alternating between Nordschleife and the Nurburgring GP track, and maybe even varying lengths? Very Happy

did a gt3, gt2, P2 and P1 multiclass round there for 2 hours, epicest SH*T ever!!! having 12 cars of different speeds on a 2km course, best race haha
