The frustration of having the slowest car for straight line speed! Chance of a podium in race 2 as well if I cleared Stonewall's Mini sooner.

Good racing tonight in B lobby. Just a pitty I went from pole (reversed grid lol) to last due to not thinking about cold tyres and going to fast over the second chicane. Would have rather raced in C lobby as the guys in B was a second faster on the faster laps but happy for the 9th (thanks to a crash).

Tell me about it, NOT!

The Sentra was a beast down the straights, 4th to 1st before the first corner, and pulled about 200-250ft on Tubbi everytime we went down the main straight.

Some brilliant battles in the A lobby with the S2M drivers, hats off to the podium places and in particular to CQR VtecTorquE who put the Acura on pole with a stunning lap of 1.03.119

If anyone wants to question how balanced these cars are, they need only look at the qualifying times. A ridonculous six tenths covering 3rd to 17th!

Hi Blaze, so you are aware the event started 1 hour before you come into the lobby.

So you need to be online about 15 mins before the event starts for you invite into the lobby.

Also you need to post "IN" into the race discussion thread (this thread for this event a new one made for the next event about a week before)

Thanks for last nights round,,enjoyed the racing a lot, quick question though, is there always a lot of lobby chatter during the actual race? Been in two race evenings so far with this site and its been a big feature in both. If its the norm here i dont want to peev anyone off so thought i should check first.

Some people can seem to chat alot and there has been request for radio slience during races during the races to people can inform where they are on the track etc

It really varies depending on who's in your lobby. Some people here like the sound of their voices!!! It does get a bit much sometimes though I know. I'm definitely more in the "quieter please" camp so I can focus better, but then I'm a boring grumpy old fart!! If it is getting a bit much though, you can request "radio silence" or at least "a bit less chatter please" during the race. I have in the past, and you usually don't get heckled too badly!!!! lol!

Good racing, makes me wish I had the opportunity to do more of these. It was a miracle that it worked out in my schedule like that as it was.

Well my second event at TORA lived up to expectations again cheers

Huge thanks to WWR Aero & CQR MAGIC for hosting our quali and race lobbies.....much appreciated!!

The racing in A Lobby was excellent again - really competitive but very clean, apart from getting rear-ended by my own team-mate Laughing

I must give huge respect to CQR HABURi for our race long battle in Race 2. Considering he's challenging at the top of the standings and I'm sure I was holding him up, his racing was absolutely top notch.......bravo Sir Cheers

The chatting was a bit of an issue for me as well, however, particularly in the quali lobby - I almost dirtied my quickest lap due to certain people chatting about their own problems. Unfortunately my advancing years make concentration an issue and, as such, idle chatter can cause major problems - not just for me but also those around me Embarassed

Although, this is a pretty minor issue that hasn't detracted from what has been a most enjoyable beggining to my TORA career Very Happy

I would like to request that the cars be freed up that are currently being sat on by guys who have only attended one race our none at all.

Guys are looking to join the series mid way through and the car choice its almost zero.

I encountered this problem myself when under going a car change, the scirocco only just scrapes 251 bhp and suffers heavily on the straights, this is not a moan, just an aired frustration.

Please consider the car squatters as it limits......well, alot from new comers to car changes.

On another note, damn those sentra.s are monsters on the straights, good racing though.
