Does this mean that the 10 % deduction in points may be lifted for car changes?, I am aware of 3 people wishing to change.

Thank you all for your input chaps. Being also of slightly advanced years i find that the chatter does somewhat distract me ( see attention span of a well slapped lhasa apso for clearer definition of my level of focus ), but whilst also realising that its my short coming i did not want to seem like a moan, but felt i should raise the subject.
In the future I will kindly request that offending individuals try to tone it down a little for the "attention challenged ones" like myself in the lobby.
A big thank you regardless for a good nights racing. The only other problem I have is the two weeks between each round,,, as i enjoy it too much

What are the rules on unplugging your mic?

The best thing to do in quali is unplug your mic that's what I do anyway otherwise there's always someone who wants to tell you they lost a tenth or went wide.
I wouldn't advise this for the race!

I don't know until I've discussed it with the rest of the staff. When I know all the details, you'll know all the details.

I can understand this - as you know we've only signed up for the past 2 rounds and there wasn't much choice
PLOW tubbi wrote:I encountered this problem myself when under going a car change, the scirocco only just scrapes 251 bhp and suffers heavily on the straights
I'm in the 2012 Honda Civic Si Coupe and we can only get 251 bhp out of her but we still seem to be able to hold our own.........so far
Thankfully, with a decent tune, plenty of good luck and a following wind she's done ok in the 2 rounds I've competed in - I'm hoping it can continue

There is also a perfectly good car that could be added to the carlist, the 2012 Scion tC.
I know it's DLC but it is the free car of its pack.

What lap did NoGoldie finish on?
Not so much a matter of not finishing . .I got disconnected from xbox live ... it was my intention to finish even though I had to enter the pits after some rough and tumble with LFCNickLFC ..
I couldn't even get a copy of the replay so I could back up my SI ...
I'm not one for complaining normally . .but 'Nick' was using some very 'dodgy' techniques to get around opponents .. I saw several incidents involving his car with other drivers in race 1 of lobby B including myself .. I am sure using others cars to control his obvious 'too fast' understeer to get around corners goes against clean racing etiquette .. I mean I don't mind a little bit of leaning, bumping and scratching but to undercut corners and then hit car after car doing so is just a little hard to swallow ..
Race 2 was just over the top ... and even then I gave him his place back putting me into dead last ..
The xbox live disconnection finished me off .. sorry guys

The Seat 03 is a beast in the corners yet the Nissan Sentra is a beast on the straights. I needed 90+Ft every lap to stop being overtaken down the straight. It was pretty easy to get that gap (almost double that most laps) but when your stuck behind a nissan in the corners the other nissans can nail you down the straight!

I had the same hassles as you last night chief, my little honda was able to carry loads of corner speed, but come straight time the Nissan`s just drove off!
Had half a chance last week at Iberian but Mugello with its straights the car was murdered, but them be the breaks when u come into a season late, still had two great races

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones... maybe take a look at your own driving before criticising others.

Re: TORA TCC Meeting 9 -- Rounds 17 & 18 - Mugello Club - 26th June 2012
Thanks to all the participants last night - was a great round, some excellent racing throughout the field! Great battle with VtecTorque in race 1, desperately trying to keep up for the first 10 laps til I lost the slipstream and then couldn't stay with him! Race 2 was equally good, Haburi and Jono had a superb battle, and everyone I raced against was fair, clean and professional, really nice to see such high quality driving
The cars are so evenly balanced it's making for terrific racing - 5th to 15th was covered by 2 tenths! I do agree that cars should be released if they haven't been used (e.g. if it's been reserved but not racing for 3 rounds, then it becomes void and can be selected by someone else).
As for the lobby chat - in qualifying I always take my headset off and mute my mic, simply to concentrate for those 4 flying laps - with no collisions on there's no need to communicate. For the race, it depends on which lobby and who's in there - race 1 in the A lobby this week was quieter than a funeral, I don't think anyone spoke for about 10 minutes, everyone concentrating so hard! Race 2 was more chatty, but mostly about the racing moves, accidental contact etc, it's good if the airwaves are kept relatively clear to allow for racing communication!

I took a good look at my driving a while ago after admitting openly to an inquiry and have learnt a lot from driving in this series about being patient and only walking through doors if they are open.
But barging through half open doors and trying to make doors that don't exist as part of the race track is surely not right .. I dunno Nick, your the steward . .you decide if your actions were either warranted or necessary
I'm done ..

Count me as one who wants a new car, as the Alfa just hits 250. Period.
As for the switch w/o deduction, I was under the assumption that we are allowed one switch before penalty.

One thing I noticed... BTMotorsports got DQ'd from the C Lobby... just so I don't repeat his mistake, what was that for?
Re: TORA TCC Meeting 9 -- Rounds 17 & 18 - Mugello Club - 26th June 2012
All the car choices he made were full. He was informed before the race that he could take part in the event and score no points. He accepted this offer. I have PM'ed a list of cars that are free which he can run in to pick one before the next event

Plow have already done a swap with no deduction

Fair enough. I watched the replay and wondered if it was a "track limits" violation.
