Great racing in Lobby D, worth a watch on the replays. Unfortunately a few mistakes from all of us cost us great positions and points!!

Unfortunately someone forgot to say that during our lobby...

On a serious note, I think people need to practice starting their races on the rolling starts...

...when I get time during the week, I'll try and host a lobby purely for people to get used to this.

agreed maybe in a practice lobby we could do that, kinda struggled this meeting but points in the bag. not sure bout changing car yet

my race replay save for race 2 says file corrupted
i will never know who properly finished third in the dead heat
Im guessing forza got it right by under a ten thousandith of a second
either way ive never seen a race result with the same time

Race1 couldnt have gone better.
Race 2 started badly. A poor call off the start meant contact for me with one of the Corvettes. Apologies. Tried to get out of it but not enough space.

Then pushed out of the way for third later on in the race.... hmm...

Results are now up - new formulas speeding up the calculations massively (I'd probably still be doing it an hour from now otherwise!)

Agreed, great racing in race 2 lobby B, I had some great tussles with quite a few people, fantastic races both, well done all and thanks TORA loved this weeks races now looking forward to Road America, bring it on.

I Posted a few pictures on my storefront of our photo finish. I actually got you by about a yard at the line. Great race bro!

Great racing tonight guys. Very close battle with spiderz (sorry if i have the name wrong) in race one,,but in race two my building suffered a power loss a few laps in so lights out!!! lol

Looking forward to more of the same in two weeks

Hi. Regarding the confusion our team had with RWD/AWD on the Audi. Thanks for updating the forums, it is now clear cars must be RWD and we will be running it from now on. The Audi comes AWD as standard and we just didn’t change it to RWD. At the time there was no mention that we could see to say it wasn’t allowed. My only disappointment in the way this was handled was that we are now 4 races into the series and it was clear that, when reading the rules/car builds, we were not totally to blame. We were informed about it in the qualifying and then demoted to the back of the last lobby for the race. It would have been fairer to say the rules were not clear at the time and we must change for the next race and allow us to race where we qualified. I feel we were penalised for a rule that, at the time was not clearly stated anywhere. Anyway, onwards and upwards. No hard feelings, we will see everyone in a fortnight at Road America.

Two good races last night its always fun when your car is quickest in the lobby lol. Another lap in race 1 and I may have caught Smithy and race 2 was much harder due to everyone running so close. Had the speed for B lobby but i couldnt do any testing so was thrilled to even make C lobby without running 1 lap before hand.

Roll on Road America!

As far as I know, the Audi R8 LMS comes RWD stock but with an AWD swap option, the road going Audi R8s are AWD as stock but not the LMS race car.

I don't really know how it could be any clearer, as the car list explicitly states all cars must be RWD:

"Car Rules
- Strictly no chrome rims
- All Cars must be RWD
- No additional turbos
- All other upgrades are allowed, upto the maximum PI as shown below."

Well that was very enjoyable round of the TORA GT! Difficult track for these cars and very hard to overtake, but some excellent close racing with some very fast drivers!

Congratulations to Daniel for his 1st ever TORA victory in race 2 and it was nice to see Ash (Champion) back racing again I had a great battle with Ash in race 1, sat on his rear bumper for the about 5 laps trying to find a way through - great defense! Unlucky for Phil lagging out on lap 2 after a brilliant super pole lap put him 4th on the grid.

Yes, race 2 was amazing - me, Ash and TPR Box starting at the back of the reverse grid, charging through the field. I think the CQR Skullcandy Ferrari team mates had a coming together at one point (possibly lag related - my headset died after Q2 so it was difficult for me to keep track of what exactly was happening!). We all caught ATR DAN with 4 laps to go and then it was a frantic scrap between all 4 of us for the final podium position. I only ended up 6th, but it was absolutely brilliant, excellent driving from everyone.

Yes the rules are clear now but had you looked at this yesterday there was no mention of RWD only. This was updated this morning.

I sent a private message to Aero regarding this, and although at the time it was not clear where the info regarding RWD was (Well for me at least ).I beleive it has now been placed in a more prominent position in the carlist so there should be no further issues regarding this matter. Just one of those things.

Out of interest, were you faster with the AWD?
I know you were both quicker than me in the same car last night.
