TORA V8 - Tuning

All tuning questions/help here.

PLOW Tubbi has kindly offered to Tune each car of all the rounds if anyone is stuck.

Could some one give me an all round tune for the Ford PLEASE as I useless with anything under the hood !!

I need help too, I can't get the tail in, bit of help with a base tune would be really nice?

Holden Tune?

Tubbi, I hope that my own tune stacks up to yours, but I'm going to visit your storefront just to see what I am up against... using your tune as a benchmark for my own.

Took your tune for the Ford to Silvestone and went 2:02 not good so this morning started from scratch and built the tune from the ground up , 2nd lap out 1:57 and still haven't touched the aero or gear box yet and I believe I can get another 3 seconds off that !!
What are people running their gear ratio and aero at for silverstone !

You've discovered what I've been working on, motegi is get it straight then gun it a soon as possible, silverstone is get the corner speed right for a quick lap.

Took me a year to take this game seriously !

Wow 4 hours,you will probably win next week but in all honesty thats the way to get quicker.

Infact Kicks i wouldn,t mind running some laps with you tomorrow ,chuck some tunes,ideas back and forth if you want.

I love this game but feel like a one legged man in an arse kicking competition when it comes to racing !. I have decided to stick to it come what may especially with Forza 5 coming next year !!

I'll be running some laps tonight I imagine, I wouldn't mind some competitive testing if I can get an invite?

I can't tune for toffee, but happily put the laps in to ensure i'm not completely off the pace.

Well you can switch to automatic but it slower, chuckle.

In my running yesterday if you can stop the car from skidding on that right hander before the last sector i think that is the vital point.

Just dialed the gear box to 3:40 and aero to 257-358 and got my time down to 1:56 looking for another 2 sec's then that will be my race !
Any ideas with aero and gear box ?

I messed around yesterday with 4 or 5 gears on Silverstone and they were about as quick as each other.

4 gears makes it easier to get the power down but you have to make compromises about what gear to be in for a couple of corners and have a longer 1st gear to try and get off the line with.

So I should be going the other way with the gears !

Gears at 340 is what mine where on at Motegi, Kicks can i ask what you use is it just manual or manual with clutch.

With clutch and now down to 1:55.808, set gears at 2:90 and counting , beginning to like this fast car stuff but I think my time will be hard for me to get past , will give it beans for the rest of the week !
