Chevrolet Racing

Chevrolet Racing has just begun its voyage into the british touring car championship and will hopefully be fielding two cars when it comes to round 3 of the championship at mugello. One driver Adam Knight an ex Seat Vodaphone racing driver and more recently an ex stobart motorsport driver has signed a contract for this team and has already been realing out competitive laptimes even doing a 57.1 around the track which the team is very impressed with and the possible second driver for the team and ex team mate of adams at there previous seat team has managed laptimes of 57.3's which for the cars first test was exceptional. Photos from testing have revieled the new livelry which the car will be running throughout the season.

Adam, any drivers points you have accrued thus far will be lost and reset to zero. You will start afresh.

couldnt u have taken the Chevrolet too IOR nd raced it in there team design?

i think them move is cos his old team mate wilksy is back and he wants him to join a team with him again. thats my thoughts anyway

Yep mostly and because i wanted to start my own team really lol and thats fine ck i new that was going to happen anyways

In fact i was asked by adam if i would join him, then he posted his team up.
the car has good pace so should be fun.

Yeh i asked wilksy if he wanted to race again and in the end he decided to which is the main reason why i started my own team

The new Chevrolet racing Team made its debut at mugello where it had mixed fortunes and was involved in many controversial incidents throught the course of all three races here are some pictures of adam getting out of shape and the start of the first race

And then to secure a dissapointing first race

After a rather dissapointing first race in mugello for the works chevrolet team Adam and wilksy had an epic run to four podiums two of which were doubles. Wilksy had a great qualifying in which he managed a wonderfull 2nd however Adam was lucky to get into the top eight however he turned it around to finish 3rd in the first race with his team mate in 2nd just ahead and then in race two another 3rd and 2nd for the chevrolet drivers. In race three adam was looking good and was in 10th after the reverse order and gaining a few posistions from the start however a little of road excursion ended in disaster with both drivers smashing into each other leading them to end the race in 15th and 14th which was a dissapointment after what was a pretty strong race. chevrolet racing should be returning for silverstone with a new paint job and car build which will hopefully allow for better performance

yay, welcome back Adam

unfortunately im not gunna beable to run at silverstone or the round after but i may beable to make a return for the final round or most likely the final race of the season

Sunset infield could see the return of two chevrolet's to the field more news soon
