Well if you are running a Super GT car you wouldn't see Tag Heuer across the side of it. In the ALMS you wouldn't see Kyosho. That's why I was curious.

Just done a 60 min testing session with full race set up. set it to end at 60 mins and managed to do 94 miles and ended at the start of the pit straight.

each lap was 3 miles so works out at 31 laps. i pitted at 30mins which i had Front left 89.7% front right 86.1% rear left 90.5% rear right 86.3%, not much difference upto 50% but then slowly get worse untill they hit 65% and they fall of the cliff. Maybe a 3 stop per hour will work

Good findings Milton. Thats a stop every 20 minutes, but come the second hour its only 45 mins. Will you pit 5 mins from the end or risk it?

Better question, what if you pit at 25 mins? You'd save yourself a pitstop, but will you lose the time going a few seconds slower?

yep, we have just done a series using A class cars with drag tyres at my club, our findings were the same as milton, anything past 65-70% wear and you're putting yourself at risk of ruining your race. We found that the guys that chose to run those extra couple of laps got stung at the next round of pitstops.

I found at Sunset the Aston could have to make 7 stops over a 1h 40min race just to keep the tyres from falling off the cliff. It took 9/10 to hit 50% wear and once it did I started losing like 3secs a lap.

I cannot wait for the 1st race just to see who does what! Can see saftey cars playing a huge roll in the championship.

during the open testing at sunset couldnt get under 1:44:3xx but after a rebuild and tweak did a 1:42:961

Struggling with drag tyres.....the porsche soo hard to drive with slicks but drags is a nightmare.......Anyone have any tips with this i am actually scared of driving this car. Sad

getting clean mid to low 1:33's on sunset with the drag tyres in the 2011 Porsche at the minute with a stock tune. hopefully will get into the high to mid 32's with a tune if im lucky . oh and happy new year guys .

just done a quick flying lap under enduro spec and did a 1:43:680 but i have got under 42 before.

Blaze try using more power i was using a more grip build before and doing them times so try taking off little bits clutch,driveline,flywheel and maybe you can get more power
