So if you changed a team name in the WEC would it change the team name in the GT or TCC? No I presume would be the answer you could but would have to update all the entry lists

I think that would defeat the purpose of having the rule in place, at the start of the Season you would need to make a decision about your Team Name. For example, my team will just simply be M&M racing, not M&M racing Audi or whatever unless I specifically planned on running with an Audi all year in every event. This may not even be possible with the undecided vote of the Third round.

That is why asked for opinions on this rule if it was favourable.

Thing is, I like overloading on the car count. "HR Aces Wild" is nice because that's a distinguishing factor for that car. "Hailfire Racing 1," "Hailfire Racing 2," and "Hailfire Racing 3" gets annoying. Even if I wanted to run a replica paint for a replica team in Round 1, it'd have to be "Hailfire Racing X" because of the complete changes halfway through, instead of "HR Turner Motorsport" or "Team Oreca-Hailfire" like I had last season.

I guess I'll have to determine a sponsor or something that I'll carry for the races. It's more of a whinge than a complaint, as it's mostly for aesthetic purposes anyways. Sad

It doesn't have to be, like you said just have a sponsor or have something different as a Team name with the HR acronym in it.

Personally think Sedona Speedway circuit should be considered for a TEC event. The track has a good mix of everything that you would want from a circuit.

A couple of us did a few laps around there last night (we did the full track but in reverse) and all felt that it would make a good event.

just throwing another suggestion into the mix.

A race at Sedona sounds quite good actually. It's a track which I haven't seen used much in online racing leagues, yet it's a good track with, as you said, a good mix of everything. Maybe a six hour race would be good just to mix up the length of races as well, instead of having all five races either 12 or 24 hours.

No to Sedona Full. There are parts of that track that will make many teams have very short stints.

Might as well do Hockenheim and actually penalize everyone every time they are four wheels offtrack.

So... are the teams that raced at Sebring going to get first choice at the cars they raced at Sebring?

Or is it going to be another round of "who post first"?

Teams entered into Sebring will automatically be entered into Le Mans. Drivers may change, but as said Team Names and cars will be locked together. If you want a new car you'll need to make a new team and that will be first come first served sign ups.

Thanks. That is what I was hoping. We are already entered into LM24 in the same car/team as we had at Sebring... and new teams have to enter and pick cars behind us.

Not sure how they're going to score it but The Sweeney should be top on the teams as they got a 2nd at Sebring and the win at Le Mans, Which should mean Knob Laggy & Texaspotatolord should be at the top of the drivers?
