I would have thought limited allocations kills competitiveness among us slower racers? You want people to spend all their time testing, tuning and designing cars they like.. Then, once finally get a set up they are fast and comfortable with, you force them into something completely different and expect it to be fun? Where's spirit of competition?

Just asking for a little clarification quickly... Does a team count as one entry, or 2-3 entry's against the 100 cap?

I hope the series gets expanded, TORA has always been for EVERYONE who wanted to come and race. That is why it has grown so much. I would hate to see us lose members on a racing site because we told them they couldn't race. Just doesn't seem like the vision that TORA has always had. Only 2-3 years ago this place was practically begging people to join and race. It has become so popular because it is not exclusive, anyone could come race and in a lobby with people of similar skill. IMO, Capping the number of drivers is a good way to inspire our members to go race somewhere else.

one team one post, only a team member can post their own team.

tora is about fair play, can we not see this through?

Agree, it's hacks me off when someone posts up entry's for other teams just so they get the cars they want. It should be teams/privateers can only enter themselves and no one else.

Thanks again Chucky... I know the TORA staff is always doing the best they can with the resources they have. More racers means more time and effort to be spent by the staff. I have nothing but gratitude to express to you all for making this the best racing community possible. I hope a solution can be found, and I am confident that it will.

I recomended a "pick a car out the hat" idea but I can see how that could be a flawed idea

As smithy has said in an earlier post, BG's are fielding 3 teams this year. Do you think it unfair if our teams try and post at once to make sure we get the Nissan of Doom?

This may derail the thread further, but, seeing the latest posts regarding car selection has reminded me of a process I have heard of being used on another site.


A car draft.

Those that finished last in the previous season get to pick first, and, those that finished first get to pick last.


This is mostly food for thought and would not know where to start to implement this here. Besides, the TCC has already pilfered one idea from said other site this season.

I believe the rule should be that you can only enter the team you're in. For example: BG Scarlett can enter a team that he is in, but not the other two BG teams that are entering. No 'reserving' cars for others.
